Ive been campaigning hard for Elliot to move on to the eels too mob.

If only because the hatred or displeasure of him seems to dominate the common fans every waking thoughts and the good things about the club and players are being ignored or not recognised.

But even after he goes, the guys who brought him to the club and the "yes" men on the board, they will still be around for the next Panther mission into the abyss.

Ask the old timers, with all of the talent at their disposal over the years, the Panthers should have won 10 Premierships by now.

One of the greatest clubs that never was and may never be.

Sons and daughters of Penrith, its time for fresh and active minds to apply themselves to the task of realising the dream.

Maybe Elliot when he leaves and exposes his enemies within the club, maybe he will bring the whole of the club's management to its knees?

Elliot >>>>> Eels.

The eels, the old enemy...

But they will go with someone in-house who won a popularity contest, have a great 6 rounds or so until injuries set in and it all ends up in tears.

Because they dont have a coaching problem, they have a personnel problem. Too many blokes kicking back and failing to harden up.

In the end, Brian Smith gave up the battle, preferring to sit out a substantial part of the year than watching his side disintegrate before his eyes, ignore his game plans, drink themselevs to oblivion all while some of the players and trusted staff white-anted him.

A very unhappy club for the last few years.

mmmmm....Sounds a bit like the Panthers ( just kidding).

But you guys have the young talent and I know for a fact, a number of secret agents who are embedded in the junior league and even at some local schools..

The history teacher could well be a panther recruitment secret agent.

A good young kid is identified early and placed on the juniors "watch" list.

Approaches are made early to the best kids... as they should be.

And to the Panthers credit, they do encourage the most promising to continue with their schooling and like to see these kids grow into fine young men apart from developing their skills.

This happens at almost all clubs anyways, youve just got more to choose from.

The Panther youth, all goose-stepping to CUA, until the greedy agents get hold of them, dangle false hopes of fame and fortune in front of them, and they end up elsewhere having our proud values of western sydney knocked out them.

I'm definitely quite proud of this thread. I would have thought it would of died in the ass by now... but really, the club kept it alive through their decision a month or so ago.

There's a Facebook group now... still in its early stages with about 40 members, but that should only grow too!
