If he fails to do so he will perish in hell unleashed by the Penrith Fans.Elliott has made some tough choices going into this year.I agree with most of them. But he now has to get performance out of the young brigade
First 6 rounds are awfully tough, Elliot may not survive...
Elliott had a dream run at Canberra. Almost like a lotto win. He has shown that he struggles to change his coaching/management style to suit the talent in the team and therefore the team fails under his leadership.
Petero did a pretty good job leading the boys on the field, but I believe that the coach/selecting committee did a fairly ordinary job in positioning the other 16 around Petero.
Hope it improves in 09.

The club must surely regret rejecting my application some years ago for coach of the SG Ball side. I would surely have worked my way up from Ball and would now be on the verge of replacing Elliot if not for the shortsightedness of the Clubs management at the time. Kilkenny as head coach, Zelda (Penrith's number one fortune teller) as my assistant coach and Fibroman as a runner dispensing go go juice who knows what success we could have enjoyed this season.
I'll supply the sports bra so Fibro doesnt knock himself out when he runs on.
