Where abouts do you sit Caged?

Usually the season ticket area where I sit is pretty full, it wasnt Saturday. And it looked even sadder with no U/20 boys.

S2 of the Eastern stand.

No lebanese the Dogs supporters behind us last week looked very australian. Geesh they were carrying on, so much so that even the dogs supporters in front of us were laughing at them.

Funniest moment of the night was them trying to remind me that we got beaten 74-12 by Canberrra. I kindly reminded them how sh*t they must be to lose to that team by 40.

Anyone hear what MG had to say about M.E's future on the roast today. Just caught the end of it, only bit I heard was MG being asked by Voss if he would be on the coaching staff next year...he didn't deny it.

having mg on the coaching staff would have me feeling it was a gee up rather than real. MG was a former great but not known for his intelligence .I dont see what he could offer in terms of improving the team.Lets not forget Elliott is on huge money and would want a payout in full .Not sure if the club is in a position to pay him out

Yeah not known for his intellegience but I would imagine it'd be a similar situation to Mal and Neil Henry for the Maroons. MG would be an inspirational people person, while Anderson would be the strategic mastermind.
Personally I think there are better options out there, but its an improvement and I'm glad we're hearing more about sackings.

Well the players would have more respect for him. It worked for the Roosters so it can work for us.

Yeah, if nothing else MG is really, really passionate about the game.
For example when he fired up on the Sunday Roast discussing the $BW incident.
If he can't fire up the boys before a game, then who could?... Maybe he could just put a rocket up Pritchard before every game... that could do wonders.
Who knows, we might show a bit of mongrel and biff as well.
I think he could be great.

Yeah I tihnk he'd have a role to play. But the big problem is what useless Penrith management see him as. I wouldn't be surprised if they got him involved in the brains stuff, and then you're getting into dangerous territory.

 True. Maybe a gameplan where every player played like a frontrower, and if all else fails just beat the crap out of the opposition.
At least the backs would touch the ball for once.

my concern is the problems at penrith are far deeper than elliott .The facts are since Elliott came to the club we have got one big name player to sign.
Lang had the same problems. While the coaches have changed over the years many of the people higher up at the club have not.We need to get the supporters to sign up as members so we have one voice and can then challenge the board and elect one of our own even if its one person

I will tell you what i HATE about elliot.
That silly smirk on his face after another loss.
He thinks this is all a joke doesnt he.
Well i guess he is trying to be positive about the whole thing but its not normal to be happy after a loss.
