Linking the awards with a practical outcome gets my vote in whatever form is finally decided.

For what it's worth, the awards night imho is a fantastic event and all the players should be encouraged to have greater participation.

Personally, if this is to be the spectacle of the new F7s - the best versus the best - then the best referee has to front up. And, with all due respect to the other fantastic whistle blowers in our competition, that honour doe (in my opinion) have to lie at the feet of Misseur antonius.
