The month of MAY 2024

How do we think we will go?

Will be 3 from 12 if we lose all 4.

Probably need to get to 6 from 12 to keep the season alive, seems so unlikely 😕

Friday 10th - v Broncos (home)
Sunday 19th - v Storm (Suncorp)
Saturday 25th - v Souths (Accor)
Thurs 30th - v Sharks (home) (missing Origin players)

We'll lose the first two with the two opponents scoring 40 points or more.

Souths is a fair way away, so who knows

Sharks game will depend on which players are playing, unlikely we'll have any, but not sure about the Sharks.

Broncos and Storm are a class above what we can produce, no matter they are both effectively playing away games.

Souths are a basket case, surely we can challenge for a win there? And And Sharks I'm not sold on this year, especially if they have a key player or two out on rep duty - though we have a five day turnaround there.

So "may"be 2 from 4? But it will be a long wait until 25 May for a possible win, while we get reamed by the interstate teams in the meantime.

Storms record at Suncorp is pretty impressive. I suspect better than ours at CommBank,

We have a two week break now before the Ponys match at Commbank

They play the Roosters the week before, Be a heated and dusty affair I reckon.

They could have players out plus others playing injured

We turn up we could have a decent shot at a win

Am I mad with my analysis?

I would like to think were always a chance at commbank no matter the opposition. We have a 72% winning record there.

Only angle I can see atm though is if its a wet, cold slippery night Friday night game it might throw Brisbane off a bit. And possibly negate there speed.

We're going to need to play out of our skins.

2 out of 3 wins we have started like dogballs if we give Brisbane any space early on the edge we have no hope. I can't see them getting run-down by us if they get in there groove.
