Fair points there wilson, but at the same time you have to ask yourself, are all the problems of PNG going to be solved (or even dramatically improved) in our lifetime? If the answer is no, does this also mean that the people there should lose all hope of ever having a decent rugby league team to watch?
To me a stadium is no different to a road, a road or highway is not edible (for those that are starving) but they still get built in developing countries. Roads can be used by citizens just as a stadium can be.
And it will be much more no-frills than an aussie stadium too, so costs will be less. If Robina was quoted as an example, that's just capacity-wise. This stadium probably wouldn't even have seats in most parts, just like an outer stand in an aussie venue...
