I'm not much of boxing fan so dont really know the history - but after watching that interview can someone explain to me why FM has yet to arrange a bout with Pacman?
The guy has already agreed to a reduced split, and agreed he'll take whatever blood test FM wants. so what is holding up this fight?
Bob Arum. Anyone who's familiar with the history between Money and Arum know they probably will never mutually agree to anything.
In the early stages of negotiations, Floyd put forth his terms, a 60/40 split and olympic style testing. Both were declined by Pacman's camp, with Freddy Roach going on record numerous times stating as much. They accuse Floyd of negotiating himself out of the fight (ducking). Although, had roles been reversed, Floyd would still have been accused of ducking. So its pretty much lose, lose for him.
Back to Arum. He has said so many times that he doesn't want the fight or that it won't happen then a few days later accuses Floyd of ducking. Huh?? If Pacman loses to Rios in November or wins unconvincingly, you can bet the house Top Rank will push for a Mayweather fight.
