Can’t see AMC playing more than a third of his contracted period with us, remembering he’s had a hamstring tear off the bone...so hopefully there’s a longer term plan beyond this band aid solution.

Brailey could play for NSW eventually and you already have a great lock who I’m sure isn’t over the moon with having to play prop next season. It is just an all round strange move.
Who is our great lock?
Williams isn't great.
Billy isn't great.
Rudolf is a prop who played at lock but is best served on the interchange bench.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Tolman at lock for us to start the year.

Is AM not a journeyman?
Well by definition no he is not a journeyman
260 plus games for the Broncos including plenty of finals experience and then loaned to the Knights for 8 games and then back to his former club
If not for Covid and the Broncos ongoing issues he could easily have been a 1 club player and obviously the Broncos wanted to keep him but their ongoing issues facilitated his departure to us.
AM is certainly a “senior signing” but his NRL stats are far superior and impressive than journeymen like Fuimaono, Williame, Mc Donald, Merrin. Maranta etc etc
By the way I never said whether I am pro or anti his signing but I have said I am willing to back a coach who also has an impressive regime compared to the idiots that have been running around in coaching roles at our club.

He is having a medical examination and so his medical fitness will be a condition of the contract. It has been reported that he is traing well at the Broncos.

I see McCullough playing the next two years and if still fit, the club taking up the option for a further 12 months. With the speed in our backline, with hlves on fire and forwards doing their job, I believe McCullough is a perfect fit for our team.

Hey Boardlumps I take your point about Cam Smith. 38 and still going strong.

Cam is an enigma. Has hardly missed a match ( including SOO and reps) through injury, is not heavily built, outstanding tackler, best game manager and is a very good goal kicker. Value per game is very cheap considering his durability.

McCullough is a good hooker and has been durable for years but nowhere near the class of Smith ( no one is). As with most supporters we don’t want big $$$ paid for long term deals for unremarkable players. I’m yes to MCC for two years with a possible 3rd at our contract discretion. But not at the big dollars some are reporting. Say $350k tops.

I can't see McInnes playing another game for the Dragons personally, maybe Rd 1 against us but we might not want him to play against us, like you wouldn't want him to play against you potentially in Rd 1 if we get him before then.

Called it!

Well not playing for the Dragons again. Poor guy, no doubt he didn't want to leave the Dragons like this.

After just losing McInnes, l'm prepared to pay him a few extra chocolates just to get him here.
As Coffs said, great to now have a coach with a plan B and then some.

Just heard Cam has knee injury. I'm sure he hurt his knee last year or 2019?

We sure know how to drag out the execution and announcement of a player signing at this club.

I can tell you it takes longer than Big Brother announcing who the latest putz to be punted ................. and that's saying something!

By the time they start a sentence, l need a shave before they've concluded it!

Looks like we will have to meet the broncos terms now

AM no doubt on his way

Mcinness amazing timing. Poor bugger

AM also did his ACL a few years ago and has come back ok

I think the AM signing at say the below would be about right vs other options

2021 = $400k
2022 = $300k plus bonuses
2023 = $300k plus bonuses
