Congrats Shaun.
On a more sombre, pessimistic note. Imagine if the doggies bust us a new one? What then?
Earlier this season victories over NQ and then Tigs are eerily similar to the Storm and Raiders victories/ combination. What happened after Tigs was awful.
This weekend is a massive test for the boys, Macfadden and our season. Can't wait.
I guess the main difference is that when we played the Sharks, unlike the Dogs...we hadn't played them already.
The Sharks were coming off the Fifita to the dogs thing, and they had been belted by another team ( I forget who just now ) and were in a state of disgrace.
McFadden I imagine will try to replicate the conditions of the last Dog game.
If Shaun Johnson makes his conversions we win that one ( four try's to three )
The other thing McFadden will be counting on is Ben Mutts staying out there ( his working over of Reynolds was too much for their Left edge to cope with...the Chad will have to step up and do what Tommy did ).
Past Warriors dogs games have been fairly evenly matched up front....however their back three in the scrum would easily over power Todd Lowrie, Elijah Taylor, and Mannering.
Louisi , Seb , Matulino , and Mannering at Lock is a very different look and matches the dogs (then goes one better with Matulino).
Rapira's a big loss , we're less assured of matching the Dogs in grind footy...I suspect that is why Gub is 18th man....good chance Locke won't play.
Our three quarter line with Hurrell about to give the dogs 80 minutes is another edge.
McFaddens last Bulldog template was good enough to beat them. I think we go in as slight favorites in this one.
