Anyone else attend?

It was a good night, a lot better organized than last year. I do have a concern though: how old do you need to be to be a mermaid? Deadset, some of the girls walking around would have been lucky to have been 16...

Anyway, good night for some free food, free signatures and a bit of goss.

I got the word tonight that the bus incident in the pre-season on the way to the Central Coast that I talked about earlier 100% did happen. Other news is that the vibe around the club says that the Peach isn't going to be re-signed, and that while there are better goalkickers at the club (got no names though) Noddy keeps the job because 'he likes the spotlight.'

Unless they have a fullback from another club in mind to replace him, it would seem a silly move. :?

The Peachey talk has been around since late last year...

Dirthy about the Noddy and goalkicking though.

Any new goss on where sully, gallen and bails will be next year?

I didn't even know this night was on. I am a bit dirty about it too.

I got a letter in the mail late last week. I imagine it was supposed to be sent to all season seat holders...

Any new goss on where sully, gallen and bails will be next year?

No idea, sorry... :p

Williams whacked Jeremy Smith a lower grader. Everyone jumped on him to break it up and he injured himself. That is what happened with the whole preseason incident.

Since that time, he's apparently settled in really well at the club however. He was read the riot act after his little indiscretion and hasn't looked back since.

We need Peach for at least another year, preferably 2. He is a club icon, and not only should we be loyal, he's in decent form and there's no alternative. Merritt isn't ready for the pressure yet and Peach continues to be worth at least 2 try saves a game.
