It really is a sad day, when you visit 3 or 4 league forums and have a read of whats being posted.

Whilst fans of other teams are debating the game and the players we are all tearing strips off eachother.

I think there are always going to be personality clashes between certain people with history on these forums. And lets face it at the end of the day I think a large majority of us would love to go face to face with the Warriors management and have our ideas heard. The stark reality is one man made the effort to do so and was welcomed in with open arms by the management. Its only natural that initially he would take along those he held in the highest regard. Im sure if I or anyone else here had be the one to take this thing by the reigns the faces would be different.

But the fact of the matter is he was the one who had the smarts and determination to do so and you cant argue with that.

At the end of the day once this thread is done and dusted and people from all sides join in other RUGBY LEAGUE discussions I do hope we can have some good old fashioned debtate about THE GAME.

I personally feel that this whole debate has only made us as a forum fan base even weaker, there were splits before but now it's alot more pronounced.

But hay what the f@ck would I know.

If you ever attend a meeting representing fans please just stick to asking questions about what flavour biscuits will be there and help with making the cups of tea becos when ever you put your 2 cents in you are over charging us

Was I talk to you? No don't think so. That comment was for DMM. You ought to learn not to butt into other people's conversations. You've done it once when I was talk to Ozbash directly. Unless of course you just feel the need to always open your mouth and not let others speak for themselves. I'm sure DMM can say what he thinks without you having to step in.

If that was a forum sevens article, I'd give it a score of 99.

Agree with a lot of what you've said. There's been a whole lot of ego paranoia from what I've seen and I think at this stage it's best to stear clear of it all. FFS these places are places to post opinions, nothing more, nothing less. The sooner some get that through to their the top two inches, the better.

Now, Skinner me old mate, didn't read your post word for word admittedly - got a friggen accounting assignment due and god knows I don't like accounting much, but, as much as I understand sentiment over the ditch in South West Australia, us in the mainland (I'm being fececious) do often feel neglected by the club. I have a feeling talking to the whanau back in South West Australia that they feel much the same throughout the rest of New Zealand. It's a pity - I think we definitely need to harness Aucklander's opinions to get them through the gate, but lets band together over in Australia. GF's and major semis are going to be on over here, lets get a hardcore group together and drive it forward - it can only add to the bottom line in terms of merchandising etc.

jes (at least I think it was jes), yep, the feedback thing is there. But I agree with what you're saying, it could be more... accessible and easily available, and perhaps built upon that monthly feedback from the Media Manager appears on the main topics raised. My own personal feel about the "enquiry" thing is a little weak, there's been a few occasions when I've contacted the club RE: ticketing enquiries, and also sent a list of ideas to Mick Watson once or twice through it, but never got any returns to sender. One way to burn the bridges is to p!ss off the major stakeholder, the fans.

I don't know why you are all fighting. I never really listen to anything you people say anyway.

Now, if there isn't going to be any death threats or jihads. Get back to talking about how great I am and what a wonderful job I've done with this loser team!!!

Kind Regards,

Wayne Scurrah. Master of YOUR Destiny.

Dead right, get your act together...some of us dont really care about inter-forum politiking. Some of us are here to talk about the SPORT that we enjoy. Be it banter, debate, agreement or ways of improving the warriors club. What is going on?

There was a meeting with The Boss... What do you whiners feel that you are missing out on. I would have loved to have been there, I live in Wellington, which makes it difficult to be there. I accept that, I didnt know that this meeting was being held...I dont really care, as long as a positive came out of it.

Funny thought, if Wayne Scurrah and ilk read these forums do you think he would conduct meetings like this frequently.

The reason for this meeting was to better the club. Do you guys who feel agrieved to have missed out have constructive stuff to offer. Or is it the feeling that you have missed out on the chance to rub shoulders with the high and mighty and earn street cred?

GET OVER THE NEED TO HAVE YOUR NAME IN LIGHTS, AND GET OVER IT...
