I didn't realise I was watching Collingwood TV.

I was just going to mention something about this. I heard how Nathan Buckley was going to appear on The Cricket Show (with Warne then going into some segue regarding how Collingwood had been going bad this year blah blah blah).

Seriously, what is it with Ch9 spruiking all these AFL players/personalities throughout the test series? They did it in the Adelaide test, they had Tubby interviewing Jonathan Brown during the Gabba test. And now it seems like Tubby Taylor has been spending too much time around Brayshaw and Warne, as he's been mentioning how he's been regularly attending Swans matches and was sing the AFL praises etc. So much for being an ardent Dragons fan...

I liked Warne as a cricketer and he will always go down in history as one of the best bowlers of all time, but he should be nowhere near the commentary box. Sounds like a complete bogan, and being the narcissist he is, has all his sycophants in Chappelli, Slats etc. alongside him, kissing up to each other. It's funny how KP sacked Warne from his Ch9 role over the incidents involving him and women during the 2005 Ashes, and then KP died and Ch9 reinstated his position a couple of years after he retired, and Warne waltzed back in as if nothing ever happened at all. I've also noticed Warne has been getting more on-camera roles. What are Ch9 thinking? Do they really think he's going to appeal to the female audience?

Ch9 is a joke and has turned into one big old boys club. They had the best commentary team in the world when I first started watching cricket back in the '90s, but their standards have dramatically declined over the past decade. James Brayshaw has turned into the new "Eddie everywhere". Remember 10-15yrs ago how ppl used to make all those "Eddie everywhere" jokes regarding Eddie McGuire? Well, Brayshaw seem to be popping up everywhere, working 12 months a year. I often wonder how ppl like him manage to find any time to spend with their family.

On a very positive note, I've heard on Boxing Day that David "Bumble" Lloyd is going to commentating during the tri-series. Thank God for that, but I hope they get rid of Warne and Brayshaw in exchange for that. I'd go as far as to say that if Sky Sports aren't covering an English tour during the Australian summer, Ch9 should make a serious play and try to recruit Lloyd over here for the summer (like what Ch9 did with David Gower during the 1992/93 season). Him and Michael Vaughan were a breath of fresh air to listen to during the last Ashes series, and added a new dimension to the newer, 'stale' generation of commentators Ch9 have introduced in place of Greigy, Lawry and Benaud.

Who gives a f**k about fumbleball?

With the help of Ch9, it's the AFL administration's way of trying to indoctrinate you into believe that fumbleball is "Australia's game" (as they love to say in their advertisements). Only if you are a Victorian do you believe that Melbourne is the centre of the universe and the world revolves around it.

Watson with a significant contribution this match. I'm shocked. Looks like he'll bowl 10+ overs to go with his 50 along with a wicket.

Kohli and Rahane threating to take the game away from us. Need to break this partnership, they can both make big tons.
