Hopefully he has a miserable ashes so we are rid of him by the time the kiwis play us.

Seriously dont get the mentality of you lot. Hoping our players fail so they get dropped.

How about wishing that they kick on and take their game to another level. No doubt most of you lot were death riding Smith early in his test career.

Smith was young and you could see the talent. Marsh is in his 30's with an average in the 30's

Nope, the ball deviated off the edge and there was a noise (snicko and hotspot have proved in the passed to not be 100% correct). If Warner or any other batsmen were given out in the same way I'd have been fine with the decision.

It was fairly clearly a little way off the bat and there was no noise, no deviation and no hotspot. Really frustrating to have the technology to overturn obviously wrong calls like that one but not be able to use it because India are worried they might not get the rub of the green like they often do

No I've always quite like Smith. He values his wicket for one.

Marsh has had a ten year shield career and averages mid 30s and he has scored 10 centuries in that time. He is extremely mediocre and has the record to back it up. If he was ten years younger with an average in the 40s I'd be willing to give him a chance.

There was a deviation mate. Quite an obvious one. I don't think drs would have overturned it anyway even if he did miss it.

True. He is also the best we have. Can't see the point in death riding the best we have. He is only going to get replaced by someone more mediocre.

Great innings by Marsh. Almost a match saver.

Darsh isn't anywhere near the best we have, where the f**k do you come up with this shit?

Possibly the fact that extremely knowledgeable and experienced cricket men watch him play domestically and then picked him in our best 11. Apologies for going with that over the forum nuffie.

Hell his record is no better than callum Ferguson. Why not him. Its because the selectors have a hunch that darsh will be a good player despite evidence otherwise.
