No his SGBall jumper makes him eligible for NSW. Just happens storm didn't have an SG Ball team then, all storm and Perth SG B all players are eligible for nsw. We have had another North beach player just sign for souths logan so guess he will be eligible for Q'land.
His Raiders jumper IS his SG Ball jumper you fruitcake! Anyone with half a brain could see that -obviously Son of Fugly isnt that mentally developed yet

In fact there draft almost guarantees that sides dont have "local" players in the side.

In the modern day world of sport its hard to believe that the casual fan actually feel that strongly about locals, unless they are die-hard supporters.

The UK and US sports worlds have literally no locals in there major codes sides.

RE: UK. Nah, plenty of locals.
Its good to see a team with local talent. It represents the area more. IMO.

Its good on the Storm and hopefully the first of many.
Its a bit of shame the first question asked is who can he play for NSW or QLD.
Maybe for the good of the game he should represent Victoria and help them become the third good state team. In the spirit of expansion etc.

I think he meant EPL. A few years ago Arsenal only had Walcott in their entire squad from England.

I've never been hung up on a club being full of "local" lads - but it's nice to see a few come through the grades and make it in the big time.

This is one of the areas where Rugby League beats football hands down in the UK. Most Premier League clubs don't have a single local lad playing in their squads and some don't even have any born in the same Country.

It beats me how so many young English lads aspire to be footballers when the height of their achievement will be to play in the lower leagues of English football as so few Englishmen play in the Premier League.

Congratulations Mahe Fonua! Now the first born and bred Victorian to score a try, and in a final.

Had his best game so far.

Time to fund the vrl, warl etc properly so we can really develop our player base in all states and territories

Depressed me when Voss was talking about his Origin eligibility in his debut match...

Let's get a Vic v WA Origin series going!

We have had one for decades, it's called the affiliated states championship!

Would be interesting to see a three series soo featuring WA and Vic nrl, Toyota cup and nsw/q'land cup players in the near future.
