I wasn`t going to watch this one, initially. But now, with the events of this week, it`s shaping as a potential blockbuster. One of the most exciting club games I`ve ever seen was when Parramatta beat Melbourne at Parra Stadium under Daniel Anderson in 2010. And didn`t the fans give it to Melbourne? And didn`t Jarryd Hayne give it to Slater? Memories.
Now that Kearney is all but gone, if the lads just take his game plan with a grain of salt and go out there and just play football, I reckon they could roll Melbourne - who have been below their best and are still without Slater (I think). There`s certainly no shortage of rivalry between the two clubs over recent years. And now we`ve sacked their former assistant coach; that should add some spice to it. The Parramatta players will now be looking at new horizons, and they just might get out there and play out of their skins. GO PARRA! (The new Parramatta.)
