So Ken's in the clear about it... what about the Board?
What has the board got to do with packs arriving late?
We have membership managers, market ing manager, a CEO who the office report to plus other figures within like Bonnie and Erin who are part of the whole process plus Bob Bentley at the time as acting CEO
It was very poor planning and execution
The board are responsible for making the Leagues club profitable as well as provide the funding in running the football side.
We have a football office who are responsible for memberships, marketing, game day, day to day management, communications, sponsorship, etc
its the boards fault

Bart's point is actually correct in one way
The Board should of appointed a CEO rather than Bob Bentley do both roles at that time and not wait 6 months or so before they appointed Ken Edwards
Yes but not having a CEO for 6 months (I think it was closer to a year) would have helped achieve the $10 million dollar profit and achieving a big profit is all we want the board to do right?
Didn't some of that profit come from not allocating as much funding to the football club office and memberships? I was told that Ken Edwards was granted more funding to get the place running efficiently, service our members and achieve future growth. This year's debacle as with previous years is the result of not prioritising our members by allocating sufficient funds for things like adequate staff numbers.
Hopefully with the additional resources things will be done better next year - better late than never.
This goes back to my point of not having a CEO for 6 months or so.
No one was hiring cause there was no leader
Valid point Tony
Though now, the office is jam packed with staff[/QUOTE]
Ozzy left in December and Edwards wasn't appointed until the end of October (10 months) so there was at least 1/2 a million bucks saved there.
The great thing is that we are finally on the right track and I couldn't be happier for not only our members but also for the poor buggers that have been worked to death in the football office. Finally we have a club that is trying to look after it's staff and it's customers.

Your absolutely correct about that statement
"Finally we have a club that is trying to look after it's staff and it's customers"
Maybe we should merge with the Wanderers after all.
Great to see them do well and good on them
They have done more for western Sydney than the Giants in AFL have done
but apparently the club loses money on gamedays as it frightens the gamblers away. They sure have, and they're indirectly helping the Eels as well.
Last Saturday night, the club was PACKED with Wanderers fans, before and after the game.
