I fail to see how gasnier quitting the nrl to play union in france is much different to menzies quitting the nrl to play rugby league in england. sure gasnier is leaving the code but once a player is not playing nrl anymore they are not in the public eye anymore, people cannot watch them play ect. Its the same issue that cashed up foreign codes/clubs are poaching nrl players. should be in nrl

following the signing of steve menzies, sounds like he,s a been a top player and top bloke.
we have glen morrison at the club and he,s a top draw player and great off field as well. tell me if im wrong but is menzies age is a concern ?
for all you sea eagle fans we will look after him , hes joining one of the best if not the best club in blighty .
where hoping for menzies ,morrison,solomonia,newton etc to bring on young burgess and donaldson on next year and stiffen up the team ,its been a poor year so far.
so dont dispair,beavers in good hands !
