I would love to do that but alas, I cannot, because no such link exists. He was never on Fox Sports declaring anything about a 17th premiership.

I made the post (hell let's call it a lie for that is what it is) to see what reaction you would have. And your reaction speaks volumes.

You asked me for proof before you would retract your lie about Gasnier and you are absolutely right. By making that claim, the onus is on me to back that up with evidence. Not change the story or my point after being caught out.

Now why do you think the onus of proof does not apply to you? I am not having a go because it is obvious you are an intelligent person, but I am curious as to why you do not hold yourself up to the same scrutiny and expectations you desire from others who make similar unprovable comments like the one you made?

Just because Gasnier has never come out to refute the article's claim of one premiership does not mean he agrees with it.

That would be like saying because Wayne Bennett has never refuted the claim that Jamie Soward is a better 5/8th than Darren Lockyer, his silence is proof of his agreeing to Soward being the better 5/8th. But it doesn't stand up to scrutiny and neither does your Gasnier claim.

Anyway, keep up the fight, I still admire your tenacity in the face of adversity. The Knights could have used a bit more of that on Old Boys Day this year, no?

Dragons/Saints arent a club they are a mascot/nickname, you guys need to get that clear.

Should Newcastle change their name to the Newcastle Dragons no doubt you would all wont to count those premierships as well.

There will never be an official record showing that the StG Dragons have won 16 premierships, unless the JV folds and they once again win a premiership as a one club team.... in exactly the same way as the Illawarra Steelers will never have an official record of winning 1 premiership unless the same situation were to occur for them..... ie: neither will ever happen.... pretty pictures, petty insults, idle threats, flaming, repeated mantras, etc etc will do nothing to change these simple facts.... just as it should be.....

- After all your claiming that a club thats been around for 12 years has won 16 premierships.

- That 3 different clubs can add their premierships together to make 16 for the St George Dragons.

- That not only did St George-Illawarra win the grandfinal.

- That also St George Dragons did.

- That also the Illawarra Steelers did.
