The thread that keeps on giving, for people who dont care what we think they seem to get testy mate.

Truth sometimes hurts aye.

Absolutely.

By my recollection, this is the third thread on the subject and the enjoyment it brings never ceases.

One of the best posts I saw on the subject, I think it was from Bumzy, was where he talked about marriages and wives and children.

I had Brady Bunch flashbacks.:lol:

There certainly seems to be a heap of people who spent the whole season supporting their respective clubs, in the hope that they would be victorious on the first Sunday in October, for absolutely no reason at all. I hase this statement on the fact that many of you are now claiming that the Dragons premiership is somehow tainted as the Storm were not playing for points - ask yourselves this, would you feel the same way if your team were premiers! I bet not, and before you all come straight back with - yep, we would still think it was tainted, you can think again - nay let me say imgaine again - because for this year you are not in the position to even contemplate what it would be like if your team won the comp - because they didn't!

the stench said:
A real poll would be closer to 95% lol'ing at the ridiculous claim of 16.
Yes, you're very good at making stuff up.
*Paging Dr. Ulysseus, paging Dr. Ulysseus, we have an emergency......*
You keep pitching. From what I can see, Ulysseus is annoying you by simply not responding.

But you do have a problem, when someone hits you out of the park who have a sook.

It's like those people that get others to do the work, but cry when they get less credit.

In the real world, when someone isn't up the job, they are sacked.

But of course the managers in the front room will try and make the sacking as nice as possible. If they can make the failed worker feel that he/she has actually succeeded at something, then everyone is happy. Right?

But sometimes the failed worker comes back, tries to join in the staff cricket match, the office xmas party... drinking all the beer, boring fellow staff and corporate partners... and generally just not taking the hint.

The front room managers all say, 'WTF is this creep doing here?' One of them just tells the failed worker to "f**k off", hurting his feeling terribly. The failed worker cries - all tired and emotional. So another manager quietly takes the failed worker aside, says, "there, there, you're right, everyone else is wrong" - thereby putting a smile back on the face of the failed worker and providing him/her with that much needed path into heaven.

Was that subtle enough?

Perhaps the major political parties should issue policies on the matter in preparation for the upcoming State election

Dont worry,

When the independent commission comes in we will all be on 0 premierships anyway. Because it will be a different entity. ARL, NRL, NSWRL etc etc all different entities. Therefore, we will all start from 0 again, as we should have done everytime it changed.

OR

Common sense could prevail, and you could all stop the tall poppy thing and just come to terms with the fact that we are better then you and always will be. 16 and counting. St. George never stopped existing and have always existed in its own right as a leagues club despite us giving illawarra a lease of life under our emblem, and further despite NRL wanting to f**k things up like they always have, similar to when Souths got kicked out then invited back whilst keeps a club in that cant even afford to pay someone to run the club (a CEO). Anyway they wont be in charge much longer, and for good reason.

Back on the point, if your all your arguments are considered true, then everyone should start from 0 everytime the competition changes body. Because we are playing in a different competition and for a different entity everytime. IE, we won the NRL telstra premiership last, and and Manly won the NSWRL Winfield premiership. And so on and so forth. We could talk about this bullcrap all day long. So all you Rooster members (of which i could count on one hand, part from when they are winning, then i need to use my other hand.) and any other supporter out there pull your heads in. The Rooster I am sure would have had to change their trading name a couple of times to jazz up their brand, Sydney Roosters, Sydney City, Bondi Brawlers, Backdoor benny's, Roosters etc... After changing trading names you should be reset every time you have a fan crisis or someone sh*ts in a motel. Because theoretically a different named team under a different trading name won in the past. I think just be happy you guys were able to buy yourself a couple of comps with brown paper bags and be done with it. Because they team i support has won 16 how about you?

I am not joking at all
Still in denial. It can be amusing, but there comes a point where you just look like a complete dill.

It pains you know that you were picked so early. So you've dug your heels in, not for the first time.

Granted, I can see how much Saints winning any premiership upsets you. But let's face it baroness, you have a history of bullsh*tting and trying to drag it out for as long as possible.

raiders, do you know any other words besides merge and stain?

society wishes your parents hadn't merged that fateful night and that they had left you as a stain on the sheets.

He doesn't. That's all he's got in his arsenal
Probably a long line of sheet-stainers, him & his whole inbred family.
The great-grandfather was probably a homeless drunkard who spent his time on the streets randomly spitting out crap such as "bring back University"...long after everyone else even remembered who the f**k they were.....
