I wish all fellow forum users an extremely merry xmas and a very prosperous new year.

Thank you all again for the wonderful distractions to everyday life that you all provide. It is unreal the amount of pleasure i get from reading these forums on a daily basis.

Looking forward to meeting some of you in the coming 12 months.

Hopefully my Xmas stocking new year contains the highlights of 2005 grand final, of which parra will win. (Hope springs eternal)

I believe this time of year, no matter what your faith is, we celebrate the end of the calendar year as well as the feelings we have for each other in family and community.

Either way, some of the best fun had this time of year is when shopping you might come across a child acting like a little brat to their parents, You will here the Parents say "if you don't behave Santa won't come", to which the young brats reply "I don't believe in Santa". This is your cue to interfere and say to the Brats with an honest face, "I believe in Santa!" To which there reactions change immediately.

It is GOLD, people.

Maybe I should end by saying Happy Yule, to you all. (except it is not coming up to the shortest day of the year, but the shortest night)

Hi guys! Seasons greetings...

It's been a great year on the forum, if not ideal on the football field. #-o

Here's hoping next year is better for our Eels, and my thanks to everyone here for making each others' lives that little bit more colourful and interesting.

I've been offline for a week or so getting all "festive stressed", but I see as always there's some good threads and posts to read and catch up on!
