try and watch a Lal Liga game that doesn't inlude RM or Barca, or Serie A or BL

The bloke has torn Arsenal and Man Utd a new one everytime he's faced them, he's made Ferdinand and Vidic (arguably 2 of the best centrebacks in the EPL) look like hacks. The bloke has torn up the likes of mighty FC Basel and even better teams than them (I know it's hard to believe there are teams better but trust me there is) for almost half a decade

The global popularity argument is garbage because the 2nd langauge of most people in the world is English so all those 'fans' in Asia and Africa will naturally gravitate to the EPL rather than any of the other European Leagues.

For that same reason, every football follower in Central and South America (Brazilians aside) would preference La Liga as their favourite European League.
