I get the feeling you've misunderstood what I initially said. I don't dislike Mezmerize because it doesn't sound like Toxicity, I dislike it on it's own merits but I said it isn't as good as Toxicity. I agree that music has to progress and things change, but that doesn't mean the actual quality of the music should drop (as it has for SOAD in my opinion).

It has a more thrash sound too it. "Sad statue" has one of the best riffs i've ever heard.

I reckon its alot better than steal this album but I reckon they are getting a little too strange and circus like for me. Their first album is still miles ahead than the others in my opinion, good heavy riffs and a couple of dark twisted songs, great album
