Hardly a ringing endorsement but on the roast MG picked us as Minor Prems....

Top 8 is all I am hoping for - and unless we get our halves sorted and firing it aint going to happen. A winger does not win you a comp.

Amen to that.

If we can get Tuiaki back into the mix early enough and provided we have a reasonable run with injuries (particularly to our thin front-row stocks) we are more than capable of marking an impact. Storm still the side to beat but a top 4 spot is certainly achievable.

there isnt a team in the comp i dont think we can beat, however i dont think we're the type of team that will do it consistently for 26 rounds. we're just as likely to lose to the warriors as we are to beat melbourne.

plus this year i think we'll be missing some players come rep time, something we've never had to deal with.

We should have a better idea around 9pm tonight. All the hype and media exposure has me worried, the difference between winning and loosing is often a mental thing at this level. Its a funny thing clubs go out of their way to attract media hype to sell their brand names and coaches go out of the way to try and talk the hype down. Anyway have mixed feelings about this season, top eight a real big chance, top four would require a very good run with injuries and the bounce of the ball, but I suppose that theory applies to every club.

Very rarely, if at all, has a side with a halfback with less than 10 first grade games under their belt, been able to steer his side to premiership glory.

Robert Lui is Andrew Johns & Allan Langer rolled into one when you compare him to Shane Perry. Much more talented footballer than Jeff Robson also and Parramatta went alright last season with Robson in the number 7.
No reason why we can`t be minor premiers and win the comp !
