So any dogs fans want to talk about Ennis' defence?

What is it with all the Defence talk from Tiger's fans? Missed Tackles doesn't necessarily mean a player cannot defend… Missed Tackles doesn’t take many things into consideration… But anyways going on the Missed tackles crap Wests fans want to talk about…. In 2010

Ennis has missed 12 tackles.
Farah has missed 13 tackles.

figures taken from NRL.com... The argument IMO is stupid, West Fans really need to get over the Farah Wankfest!

Ennis has played 1 less game, so he's missed more per game.
Ennis misses a higher amount on average, yet completes less tackle meaning he has a higher rate of missed tackles/tackles.

And actually, that's not even accurate.

This is the most accurate NRL stat site:

http://203.166.101.37/NRL/index.html

It has Ennis missing 10 this year and 11 ineffective.
Farah has 8 misses and 8 ineffectives in one more game.

Farah averages 33.8 tackles a game with 1.6 misses and 1.6 ineffectives.
Ennis averages 22.8 tackles with 2.5 misses and 2.8 ineffectives each game.

Last year Ennis had the 4th most missed tackles of any position. He had by far and away the most of all hookers, yet one of the lowest work rates.

It appears you need to get over your Ennis wankfest, because Farah destroys him in the defensive facet of the game, and Farah is a better attacker just the same.

I couldn't careless if Ennis isn't picked for Origin (Better for us)... IMO he is better suited to Origin then Farah. Bulldogs as a club for as long as i remember always have a higher percentage of missed tackles then most other clubs BUT we almost always (Except for some shockers recently in 2008, 2005 & 2000) have a pretty good 'Against'. Why you ask? Simple, it's our Defence structure... The up and in defence! When you rush up you're more inclined to drop off or miss tackles, but our scramble defence is good... Stat's don't always tell the truth!

I just hope for the sack of NSW, Farah isn't picked... NSW cannot afford to have a Hooker who thinks he's a Halfback playing... He had two chances last year to adjust but failed.

Wow this might one day attain super thread status if you all just keep re-hashing the same ground like this over and over again

:sarcasm::sarcasm::sarcasm:
And how do you explain the low defensive workrate?
Honestly, whatever way you look at it missed tackles are never a good thing. Origin is always a tight content, in those sort of games you need a good defensive hooker, Ennis simply ain't that

Anyway you look at it... Ennis played in a winning Origin in game 3... Farah played in two losing Origins last year... Game 2 Farah was arguably the worst player on the field. He gifted QLD 2 tries in a game QLD won by 10.

Just on the above Ennis should be given first crack! In Origin you simply need a hooker who doesn't think he's Joey Johns.

To be fair Wallace was the worst player on the field in Origin 2.

The best player after Chocmough in Game 3 was Noddy

Too much common sense there gronk.
The forwards never stood up in games 1 and 2,so Ennis had the luxury of field position and time, but lets over look these facets of the game.

Craig Wing was far better than both of them last year. Neither played well. Farah was clearly injured in game two.

Farah is the better player. That's as clear as day. He flat out embarassed Ennis in the City/Country game.

If it's picked on form, Farah's been better this year.

Why are we debating this???

Farah is a better player then Ennis - stats prove this, every league supporter knows this.

Hence Farah should be picked first for the blues.

NO DEBATE!!!!!

4) 2 tries does not make Ennis suddenly in the same class as Robbie Farah

Perfectly Quoted.

Ennis is going to be picked for origin, but not deserving of it.

Tigers were out on their feet from two massive road trips, and then all the defending in the first half.

I must say, if Robbie Farah and Another good halfback, and especially five eight (Ben Roberts is woeful) had the amount of possession the Dogs had in that first half, they wouldn't of only been leading by 6 points. And that to me proves Ennis is not a better player then Farah.!

Use all may think his tougher cause he niggles, Robbie Farah almost doubled the amount of tackles ennis made, and I think for a hooker playing 80 mins, 19 tackles is far from good enough.!

Enough about niggle and whose tougher, and enough about last year, cause even if you say ennis won game 3 deep down inside you know you could of played any hooker in the game that night and NSW would of won, if you want the better player to win an origin series, Farah should be picked.

Thats not NSW's problems anyways, its them constantly picking the wrong players.!

And I saw the incident, doesn't matter how Fitzy reacted cause he is a senior player that knows not to react to low acts like that, it shows that is how Ennis is, and always will be, and if he hasnt got that in his game, he isnt much else.!

Cant believe u Farkers are still arguing.

Its blatantly obvious the Bulldog & Tigers supporters have a biost opinion (doggies supporters Google definition of 'biost').

Why complicate the argument. NSW team should be picked on form. The stats do not lie.

How about from now on if u want to comment about a particular player Farah, Ennis or anyone else u back it up with at lease one stat from an accurate source, not your memory please, especcially doggies supporters. LOL.

Kidding about the Doggies supporter jokes, i know u guys are just as smart as all other supporters. HaHa

Lots of the people in this thread aren't tigers or dog supporters.

95%+ of fans supporting Farah are Tigers fans, same for Dogs fans and Ennis.

There's few others in here passing comment on the pair.

The fact your friends keep going with it is bordering on sad.

I think Farah is easily the better player however I think Ennis might be better suited to Origin. Its a inbred qldr thing to say but he seems like a origin player.
