Ennis and the Dogs won the game, well done, but if Farah had had the amount of time in the Dogs 20 as Ennis did in Wests 20,it would have been all over at the 30 minute mark.

Seriously I'd like to see any dogs fans defend Ennis' defensive workrate and his ability to give away penalties.
Ryles, Gallen, Watmough and Gibbs but to name a few get smashed from pillar to post for their niggle which often leads to dumb penalties but when it comes to Ennis people somehow see this as a good thing. I've never ever encountered a situation where people have suggested we pick a player because he's a dirty grub.
People accuse Farah of going missing, sure maybe sometimes he does, but thats the nature of the beast when you're expected to burden so much responsiblity, however even when he does 'go missing' he still invaribly make more tackles (and miss less) than Ennis

Ennis' dumb penalty count is a bit overexaggerated IMO. He does it once maybe twice a game? What hooker doesn't. He's just noticeable because he fires up about it.

Face it Tiger fans

Farah had 2 chances at origin and failed. He was terrible.

Ennis didnt go out there and try to be a hero like Farah did

Farah played very poorly in the second game, no arguments from me. But he is too good of a player not to be given another go.

My point about Ennis' defence still stands, it is poor and he misses way too many tackles. There is no such thing as "made for Origin," it's a load of crap.

All I know is that the team gelled very well in game three and a similar team, IMO, is a must. If Kimmorley's form improves between now and mid-May, there's no reason the little fella shouldn't be selected and Ennis too. Ideally I'd like to see Ennis selected at 9 and Farah at 14, as we don't have the luxury of Wing anymore. Not that everyone would've called Wing a "luxury".

When you have Peter f**king Wallace at halfback and Campese who was getting fed absolutely no ball along with a pathetically beaten pack and nuffies playing all over the field who shouldn't, of course you need to try and do something to spark your team.

Ennis was extremely lucky that he fell in with Kimmorley as his halfback and a team that was determined to win. Co-incidentally, QLD didn't show up, our pack dominated and the best team was picked that game.

It's not sour f**king grapes, I would not complain the slightest if Ennis played over Farah and deserved it. I'm all for DeGois or Priddis playing since they earnt their spot in the squad. Farah earnt his shot, Ennis got it as being the only hooker who wasn't injured and had been playing decent last year as well as being a passanger on a great Bulldogs side.

Gus made the point today on the roast that Farah is a good player, I'm not doubting that.

But in order for him to do well, the players around him need to know his game and that will take time, and in Origin you just dont have that time. You have about a week to train for 1 game.

Does that include kicking on the first tackle 40 m out from QLDs line.

Ennis wasnt lucky, and if you're calling Ennis a passenger in the Dogs side last year, and prefer to have Pridis in the team instead then ffs, theres no point in having this discussion
