not normally one to start threads on players, but this guy would have to be the, or close to the, best young centre in the game - probably along with Inu, if you class Inu as a centre (he is more FB/Wing?)

deadset star in the making.

is he a NSWelshman?

Parents are both Tongan. Hopefully he plays for them in the World Cup. Then he will play NSW and Australia, if selected.

Very explosive centre, quick off the mark. he and Inu would be my starting centres in a rookie team.

Will be a star for the Panthers and the NRL in the future.

His defence has improved greatly this year. He is making more tackles, and not missing that much. Last night he made 25 and missed 3.

must admit I didnt really watch him closely in defence

to be fair penrith as a whole are up there with the Knights as woeful defenders - individually and as a team.

he is still a better defender than Tighe though, im sure....

Geez Tonga looks like they'll have an awesome team for the WC, with talent like Jennings, Mateo, Moi Moi etc.

(Proud Tongan, supporting them and the Kiwis :D )

Every young back in the NRL has struggled at some stage this year in defence, its all apart of development. I actually think Jennings is one of the better defenders of the lot. Justin Hodges is probably the best centre in the game, but still misses a fair few tackles.

Yeah I rate him highly he'll improve at defence as he gets older.
Very exciting prospect for Penrith.

One of those was a massive miss in the context of the game
He makes up for it though. He had 2 very big plays that put points on the board... he created both opportunities from nothing, and pretty much were solo efforts.

Am I the only person who wasn't totally comfortable with Jennings' try (probably)??

I just find it hard to believe he would've scored if it wasn't for the line of Panthers players walking through the Cowboys defensive line.
