Just to keep those two guys out of every single other thread.

Wittyfan and Lockyno1...post here to your hearts content.

In fairness to wittyfan, he is the originator and his adoration is genuine - there's an inherent quaintness in that, imo. Lockyno1, however, just attaches itself remora-style to every forum fad that emerges - bagging Matt Elliott, bagging Brett Finch, and of course the ubiquitous f**k Off (insert name here) Foundations. If we can quarantine lockyno1 in here then the thread might be worthwhile.

As a fan, I have every right to be annoyed at how Michael Witt has been treated. It's a shame and a pity he went to a club that has been poison for his career.

Hopefully this thread now gets locked.

I wonder if they ever played together in halves in the lower grades at Parramatta during 2004.

I'd forgotten Witty was still around..
As for Tim Smith he is a good young player who plays on confidence and will get it back sooner rather then later and Parra will be better off for it.

I think Witty was infront of Tim in the halfback ranks according to my mate who played Flegg with them. Smith has only stood out when getting a chance with Parra since the curse of Sterlo's 7 (Sterlo leaving and Parra having no stand out halfs after that). I dont think anyone was really shouting out his praises pre first grade? I may be wrong though? Any parra fans want to help out?

David Penna was looking the goods until he sustained that career-ending neck injury

Then they decided for some reason to not let Witt shine! Bad mistake!

Brian Smith thought he could win a premiership with Chris Thorman.
