That is what I got told. He will not get named for us. Get named for SOO and aim for that.

As long as he plays v the Storm in Round 20 all is good

Players like Walker win you games when you have momentum. Players like cleary win you games when you are in an arm wrestle. Souths aren't choosing Walker over Reynolds they're backing the young talent coming through as Reynolds now costs too much. Without a half like Cleary/Reynolds you don't win comps. You might win a few mid season games.

Souths also didn't choose Walker over Reynolds. They were only willing to sign him on a year to year basis as they worried about his body holding him. He refused to do that and chose to leave.

Nathan Cleary is easily the best half in the competition at the moment and the most important player in our roster. Jarome Luai is a gun, but he can't manage a game like Cleary can. Against the Storm you need a player who can manage the game and make their job as difficult as possible. You need to take every point you can (ie. going up in 6's, not 4's) and try to limit their time with the ball in good field position.

The way the Storm have played over the past couple of months, we're not beating them without Cleary. We would struggle without Luai aswell. Hell even at full strength we would struggle. They're a fantastic team that step up in the big games and for big occasions.

It's a dead rubber. The club should put its foot down. They must be seething that he was allowed to play on injured and appears to have aggravated it in the second half. Especially when they had Wighton on the bench.

There seems to be a few whisper that the injury is worse than first thought .he is having more scans Wednesday .hopefully just misses 1 game and even the last origin game .we can not win the comp with out him .we will win some games but not the lot
