The balance of the side is good.We lose a lot in the long kicking game of Cleary but with too and Naden we gain in meters gained getting out of our end of the feild .the forwards are the key we have a more mobile pack that is to our advantage

Surely May's "Centre" cards have been marked after '20 GF. Have a feeling it's a ruse.

Staines won't gain the metres Edwards does so will even that out.

our defence is too good regardless

Luai is a gun but kicking is definitely a weakness. So more grubbers and running on the last is need from him. Any kick from inside our 50 should be taken by Burton

Disagree Edwards is not a tackle busting return runner anyway.charie will return fine just no mistakes or dropped ball on the return

Edwards is ave 162m a game
Staines is 81m

Staines also hasn't played FB for almost 2 years. He will be rusty but no errors is the main thing

So happy with Staines at fullback of course it'll take some time to adjust. Hope he kills it though. Luai is good enough to lead the team but we won't beat Storm in a gf without Cleary.

Edwards is ranked 10th on average for whole NRL for tackle busts per game....

He breaks plenty of tackles..

At his best hes good for 200m + a game and takes a shitload of tough carries out of our own end to relieve tired forwards.

I wouldve prefered to see

1. Critta
2. Staines
3. Tago
4. Naden
5. Too

Critta is a much stronger returner of the footy.. often if a player gets put on there back in a dominant tackle on 1st or 2nd tackle it lays platform for the whole set and youre generally on the back foot..

Im definitley a bit worried about charlie returning the ball.. hes going to have to show a lot more and get a hell of a lot more involved than what he has so far this year.. literally probably triple if not more his involvement..

I hope he goes well but im not convinced its the right move at this point of his career

We don’t know that for sure. We keep saying what this group of kids can and can’t do, and they keep surprising us.

If Cleary’s shoulder is stuffed (and like all on this forum I hope it isn’t) and there is even a slight chance that he could do more damage by playing it this year, I hope that they get the surgery straight away. Sure, without the best player in the game we are less likely to win this year, but I for one wouldn’t write off our chances against anyone.

I think Luai will own this game. Pressure will be off Burton.

Worried about staines at the back with regards to kick return metres but he will likely swap with Crichton during the game.

I actually think Critter has been running like a bitch this year if I'm honest
