Panthers NSW Cup coach Peter Wallace has named his squad to face Western Suburbs Magpies at Lidcombe Oval on Saturday.

The Panthers are coming off a heavy defeat to Mounties and will have to do it the hard way with a new-look side against the second-placed Magpies.

Taylan May is unavailable for selection as he serves a one-match suspension for a crusher tackle against Mounties.

Panthers coach Ivan Cleary has named his squad to face Wests Tigers at Leichhardt Oval on Friday.

With seven players unavailable due to Origin selection and Moses Leota serving a one-match suspension, Cleary has named a new-look Panthers outfit.

Matt Burton and Tyrone May team up in the halves, while the return of fullback Dylan Edwards from a hamstring injury sees Stephen Crichton shift back to the centres.

Jaeman Salmon, who made his NRL debut at Parramatta in 2018, will become Panther No.601 after being named on the bench.

Salmon is joined on the interchange by Penrith juniors Lindsay Smith and Izack Tago, who will make their NRL debuts as Panther No.602 and Panther No.603 respectively.

The Panthers will wear the 2021 Away Jersey.

Lisati is a backrower with plenty of speed and talent. For a forward, he is lightning fast.

They might go with Turuva if Edwards is out. Naden hasn't been very impressive recently.

Blacker also lucky to be on the extended bench. I like Tsikrikas as he has less errors / penalties in his game.

Good to see Salmon, Hopgood and Smith get a shot. All have been playing well in NSW Cup.

Expect JFH to have a blinder with the responsibility of being Captain.
