Dear God no.
We sent Morley and Fitzgibbon on their way and both were in much better form and had more seasons in them. I can't for the life of me understand why Mini gets to stay.
I didnt know it was up to players to drop themselves. You do have a coach who is the man to do that. Classic Brian Smith - he once revealed his philosophy on dropping players when he was with us. "You dont get value for money having expensive players in reserve grade". Daniel Wagon gradually turned from average first grade outside back to a burden who couldnt run or pass. Smithy made him pivot.I don't understand how he can not feel embarrassed by his performances.
I know he was a club legend, but his insistence to keep playing has made me hate him with a passion.
Come on mate. Its not as bad as a stock market crash, a bad batch of Grange, or slow delivery of a new Lexus. Im sure you socialites will cope. Sip another Latte and look on the bright side - you are doing better than Gus!*Sigh* I'm sick of supporting the Roosters ...
Needs to retire ASAP,completely embarrassing himself these days
He was more than happy to cut Carney and Myles last season.
It makes me sad watching him play now. Mini is my favourite rooster, in lone with Freddy. His highlight reel from 2000-2005 is honestly as good as any player I've seen. Unfortunately he is now a shadow of his former self after coming back from such horrid injuries.
I think 2010 was probably the year he should have hung em up. Got back into origin, grand final, would have made sense. Now he'll need to go out with a whimper and his tail between his legs, and he doesn't deserve that.
If Roosters are serious about rebuilding they really need to give him the tap on the shoulder
if they're serious about rebuilding they wouldnt be signing money bill merkin for a year
for the chooks fans, do you think mini may be being kept around to provide experience/leadership to the younger guys? you take him and anasta out and you're left with pearce.... SKD doesnt strike me as a leader
