Why should anyone be happy or satisfied with one good season every decade? Why can't we consistently be competitive, or at least strive to be? Is it unrealistic to expect to make the top 8 of a 16 comp more than three times in our existance? Surely f**king not? Surely this isn't too much to ask?

So many of our fans seem to just accept the fact that we are a losing club, as if this is the way it should be. It shouldn't be. We deserve better.

I always come back every year, but the last three years have taken a toll and my interest is on the decline. Spending a lot of time and energy supporting a perennial loosing team tends to have a negative effect on your life as a whole!!!!

The club is now wests tigers and will stay that way, and that's the club I support. Why we can't show a united front and work together (As a TEAM) is beyond me. The reality is we have plain sucked for 12 out of 15 years. That's nearly two f**king decades. So, if that makes me a whinger, so be it. It's not f**king good enough.

I think this year shows we have some faults in our team and possibly our coaching staff as well. I think Potter gets that you need a good pack and a good spine but I don't think he gets that you need fast outside backs that can score tries and defend them. If he stays you'd think that this would be obvious to him now.

Hopefully we fix the obvious issues and the players get a little better (they are young and they can improve) and we get some luck with injuries. If this all happens we can have a much better year next year.

It's been said that a fish rots from the head down.

Viewing the team and the board as two separate entities seems to me to be a very myopic way of looking at things. These two entities together comprise the make up of the entire club. If we want the club to be strong, now and in the future, I just think we should stop shooting ourselves in the foot.

The in-fighting isn't the only reason we've struggled this year, but surely it doesn't help? In the end, it's all the in-fighting that's BS.

I will never accept losing. We should strive to be better, not just resign ourselves to being rubbish. There shouldn't be any reason or excuse as to why we can't make the semi finals more than three times in 15 years.

I think you have this wrong. I accept that I cannot control how the team plays each week.

All I can do is support the club which is what I do. I should add that supporting the club does not mean agreeing with everything that happens and not wanting any change.

I get pissed off over dumb decisions. I'm just more rational that a lot of the posters on here and can see when stupid reasons are being bought up for why we are losing. The no 1 stupid reason is blaming our medical team. The next one on the list is blaming the board for the team's performance.

Its up to the medical team to get the players over their injuries. The strength and conditioning staff to get them fit and minimize injuries over the course of the season. The board can hire and fire the coach and make changes. At the end of the day though the team has to perform or changes need to be made. I am all for the right changes being made.

I think a classic example of how many dumb comments there are on here is that some people are stating the board needs to go but Potter should stay. Did the board pick slow backrowers to play in the outside backs on multiple occassions this year ? No. That was Potter.

If Potter stays I have no problems with that decision however for him to get a free ride when he has had a greater impact on the teams performance than the board is crazy.

Hybrid how are you striving to be better? You are just sticking the boot into a club that is at rock bottom. We get it. We are shit this year and we were shit last year and we were shit under Sheens. You've made your f**king point.

At this stage our best hope are our young stars and that the NRL appoints some quality to the board and that changes things. Show some patience and see how those two things unfold.

Stop bleating and moaning like a busted merkin about how shit we've been for 15 years. We get it. We have all been watching. Fact is there's half a dozen other clubs in our position and a club like Souths was in our position until the ownership structure changed and now look at that club.

Point is after every diabolical game you are all bitching and moaning like you're surprised and then start looking backward. Have to forget about our failures, write this season off,and hope the board restructure provides some respite.
