Pearce will be stood down for a week, we'll be told it's him "resting" for Origin and can't wait to prove his point in Game I.

Sadly, I don't see him missing Origin.

Whilst I agree NSW would be served well by suspending, I really do not give a f**k, if a player has a night out. Completely over the "won't someone think of the children" brigade.

Agree.

But, by all means have a night out with mates, try to avoid doing anything to be arrested.

If the cops ask you to leave a club, go. Don't start giving them a reason to arrest you.

I'd be pissed if i was him, they keep using his grimace face as a file photo.
He looks like a mong and deserves to miss origin one.

This is very surprising. I've seen Mitchell out and about before and he has always been well behaved. Maybe the Grand Final win has screwed with the Roosters heads. I guess it's easy to get carried away after such success, it seems like a few of them have often been out on the piss - struggled to win games early on too. I'd be surprised if he was dropped from Origin though. Won't happen.

Heard the news and immediately thought NSW are looking a lot better for Game 1 then realised it's not serious enough for him to be dropped even for a club game.

Inquiries continue into incident inside Potts Point nightclub

Sunday, 11 May 2014 02:18:40 PM

Police are appealing for witnesses to clarify the circumstances surrounding an incident inside a nightclub at Potts Point overnight.

Officers from Kings Cross Local Area Command attended a licensed premise on Roslyn Street at 1.30am (Sunday 11 May), when they received a complaint about a patron.

A 25-year-old man was spoken to by police before being asked to leave and escorted outside by security.

While outside, it’s alleged the man became argumentative with police and refused to leave.

He was arrested and taken to Kings Cross Police Station where he was issued with an infringement notice for failing to leave a licensed premise when required, as well as a 48-hour banning notice.

Inquiries are continuing and police are attempting to clarify the circumstances surrounding the initial complaint.

They are appealing for anyone who witnessed events leading up to the man being evicted to come forward.

That fact has indeed been largely overlooked. What did he do that was so serious for the police to be called in the first place?

His resisting the police is further testament to the quality of person he is.

I honestly feel sorry for his father, a decent man, as I would for anyone who is parent to such a person.

I am sure his mum is enjoying a happy mother's day. He has given her so much to be proud of. (Sarcastic emoticon.)

Les Girls closed down years ago, What was he doing in Roslyn Street?
He is probably still upset about his opposite number winning the CC medal.
