Very good in the 1st half but went missing in the 2nd. As the organiser of the team he needs to take some accountability because we were a rabble in the last 20.

Daley has dug his own hole. No point dropping Pearce for game 3, puts unfair pressure on the bloke coming in for a decider. He needs to stick with Pearce and hope he delivers.

If he does he may just turn it around as Qld wont win again for a while. If NSW lose Pearce and Daley should never be let near a NSW origin side again.

To all the imbeciles who keep saying "but who else is there?", the answer is blatantly obvious: the guy who partnered Maloney in game 3 last year, and is a proven gamebreaker.
Hell. Even put in Bird and Maloney.

Doesnt matter who it is. It matters who it ISNT. Mitch Pearce is the worst Origin half in history. He is the least clutch player ever at that level. Put JT or Cronk behind our pack and we are talking about a record win by NSW.

put Pearce in and a dominant forwards performance counts for nothing.

He also made 24 tackles lol don't forget about that

JT and Cronk must slam Pearce all game on how shit he is

Defence is fine. Organising and creating points is what's needed.

Who the hell wraps JT for his defence?
Thats what I was pointing out, it's JT's weakness so it's gets pointed out and it's one of Pearce's strengths so it doesn't.

Lol

JT is a consistent clutch player. The epitome of a world class halfback

See him win the game for QLD at the end there? when it looked like they had no chance? Pearce could only dream of doing stuff like that

Pearce was average, wasn't the reason we lost, but should have stepped up when it mattered and controlled the game in the 2nd half and admittedly went missing
I wasn't comparing them, obviously JT is better.

Also my whole argument wasn't that Pearce was the best on the field but that he wasn't the reason you lost. You seem to agree me with now so I doubt there's more to be said.

He's just not up to it, unfortunately. But he won't be dropped, so the question is are NSW up to winning a handicap event, or does one of the NSW forwards just put a high shot on him as early in Game 3 as possible?

We need playmakers that win us games. Not playmakers that aren't the worst in the team, just average. Moylan should be the man for the job next game

All your playmakers are average. Pearce is quite clearly the best and Moylan has one game in the halves. Granted a good game but he made 3 errors and missed 7 tackles, something that would be exposed at Origin.

If he's the best why didn't he ice that game last night? So you just admitted he's shit

After 17 games, Pearce has only forced 1 drop out - yes count them...1. And gusss what? It was off a flukey bomb that Gagai mistimed. That's what you want from your "best" NSW playmaker

FYI I reckon Maloney and either Bird/Moylan would've done the job in the halves last night

Pearce being the best available for NSW is a myth. Finally I think the truth has dawned on Joey and Slugface after last night.

You don't pick halfbacks for their defence.

Joey was f**king pissed last night and rightly so. He was disgusted and we all know who he was trying to blame haha (Pearce)

He actually has 3 games at 6, including NSW win over QLD in Game 3 last year.

NSW were down. Clock was against them and he came up with a linebreak assist to get NSW up the other end of the field. We scored moments later.

You also missed the other stats for Panthers at 6:
2 games played
2 tries
3 linebreaks
3 try assists
4 linebreak assists

And 2 of his linebreak assists were in a 2 minute period to score 2 tries and secure a win. He's a clutch player. He has kicked field goals to win games, sideline conversions and ofcourse created tries from nothing.

His defence sucks. But that hasnt hurt Thurston or Maloney.

Admittedly Pearce will get another shot in Brissy, and I for one actually hope we lose if it means the end for Pearce

Moylan has never lost an Origin game when playing in the halves.

Never...
He has never lost an NRL game there either.

But f**k that. He missed the first 2 games when Panthers had a bye. Dont pick him for the game where we don't.

Im happy to watch Pearce lose the series and confirm what we knew before Game 1. Then watch all the f**ktards defend him again next year as if he's not a cancer in the sky blue jersey.

i understand the desire of fans to protect their "patch".

but defending pearceoff after continual non performance is delusion.

2010 - 2017. That is a lot of wriggler slurping.

he must have drained every selector's ball-sack by now.
