If that's the bench mark of a solid 7 give me a gig. Heck I'll even make 25 tackles if you ask me too

The epitome of a solid halfback
I'd consider giving you a run Clifferd, but Jackson is guaranteed a start so picking him there opens things up for a blitzkrieg mofo on the bench like Vaughn or Sauce. If Jackson gets injured or suspended before game 3 then the job is yours. You can buy me something nice out of your 30k match payment.

Lol you cockroaches get so feisty

So Pearce being solid is worse then some of your team just being plain shit, rightttttt

Also Moylan was only ever solid at Origin when he played there so I guess he's not good enough either.

Yeah it was a solid line break he created to get NSW field position and win the game in the dying moments last year. Good thing we didn't need that last night........

I don't particularly support the Blues and as a Penrith fan I would be quite happy for Moylan not to be involved in this years debacle.
My unbiased opinion on Pearce is the same as 99% of sane people who saw the game.
HE'S NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

You aren't serious are you?

For the past decade, every year without fail, people have whinged about Bob Fulton and the coach for bullshit Origin selections.

Jesus, now we are deflecting to the selectors....

Its everyone's fault except poor Bitchel Pus.

Why do you say this? If he is not good enough, why does he get selected? Do you think him being selected is not the selectors fault?

Pearce should of owned the 2nd half, it goes down as a poor performance, how do the selectors react?

Why does he keep getting picked is the question, do you blame Pearce for getting selected? Everybody blaming Pearce should be putting equal blame to those selecting a nuffie who can't control a big game.

He gets picked because he plays well at club level, we get some media coverage about how he's matured and he proceeds to play the same as always. Rinse and repeat.

That was a good pass, but if Pearce's support play and defence doesn't count well then I guess neither does Moylan's passing game.

Just face it, no matter what Pearce does at rep level he'll always be hated because you NSWelshman are too stupid and arrogant to admit being wrong.

Just havr a listen to Johns interviewing the players in the shed after the game.

Joey to Dugan "Why didn't you run at Thurston? Were you calling for it?"

Dugan " Yeah we were calling for it"

Johns "So why didn't it happen?"

Dugan "I don't know"

What's the halfbacks role again? Oh yeah...steer the attack and team.

F*cktard.

lol have a cry brah

I like how you're all acting as if I said he was NSW's greatest player when all I said was he wasn't the worst on the field.

I guess you're all a lil touchy on the Pearce subject. Keep being salty though it amuses me.

Passing game is so much more important than support game for a half. Both are good traits but there's no comparison.

I agree but for one reason or another Pearce's strengths don't seem to matter so why should anyone else's right?

Because Pearce's strengths aren't what you need from your f**king chief playmaker.

I like Pearce as a player, I still think he would be worth a shot at 9 in Origin. Can tackle and a good support player through the middle. If he can manage to pass quickly to some merkin that has an ounce of creativity from dummy half then make the bloke captain for all I care. Just get him the hell out of the halves.

You Pearce-hating bigots don't realise that Mitchell Pearce was given a rating of 7.5 out of 10 by the Sydney Morning Herald, which is the gold standard in rugby league journalism. That was the same rating as James Maloney, Aaron Woods, and Andrew Fifita, received and more than Jarryd Hayne, Wade Graham, Brett Morris, Blake Ferguson, Jack Bird, Nathan Peats and Tyson Frizell received. In other words the SMH rated Pearce's performance as above average and above half the team.
