can't believe it was even a penalty let alone on report, not one of the 3 players in the tackle attacked the head. Blake just got squashed and hit the ground funny.
We got 4 penalties all night.
If anyone wants to compile a dossier of video evidence to send to the NRL, get some tape of the penalty AGAINST Ben Smith in the first half for being 'too long' in the play the ball; then send the second half - every single time Parra was tackled - the dogs were allowed to lie on us for at least 4 times as long as Ben Smith got penalised for....
It was getting Parra frustrated - thought Reddy was going to elbow someone in the head again??
Actually - did anyone see Reddy throw the elbow into someone's side? It was about the 65 minute mark, he was tackled mid field about 35 out from our line and was standing in the tackle. Threw the elbow behind him...
No but I saw his future brother in law try to hit him with an elbow in the first half
Tbh I didn't think there was anyhting wrong with the Barba charge down, it seems stupid but those are the rules.
On fui there is no way he'll be suspended for that absolute shocking call.
Wasn't even a penalty, joke of a decsion.
yeah I agree - it wasn't a charge down, he tried to grab it - hindy was arguing with hayne about it ..... I've seen several times in the past where parra has been ruled to have knocked on when they do pretty much what barba did .... its pretty hard to "charge down" a chip kick cos its a soft kick off the boot and because it travels slow players grab at it instead ..... but hey, it was all very quick so i can understand the ref in the middle getting it wrong - the video ref should have a clue tho (but hey, bill harrigan, need we say more)How on earth could that be considered a charge down?
He didn't run towards the kicker to execute a charge down - he was standing flat footed and put his hand out to catch the ball.
If say he managed to momentarily grasp the ball (as he was trying to do) then fumbled it bringing it into his chest is it still a charge down or a knock on?

Seriously he is a bloody thug, I hope he gets 4-6 weeks as an absolute minimum
I mean in all honesty his jaw could have seriously done a lot of damage to Moi Moi's anterior deltoid muscle
If he is suspended for a game, he will miss the ANZAC test for NZ, not our game.
wouldn't it depend when the NZ team is announced? are they announcing it sunday evening like australia? ... if he gets named sunday then charged monday surely they can't take 2 games off himUnless they do they stupid non-selection shenanigans crap and don't let us count the ANZAC test. Wouldn't surprise me in the least.
you've gotta be joking - there's been about 600 of them already this year that didn't even get penalised .... that was just an Archer specialI think KK should be more worried about his lifting tackle.....
