Monday Night Football

Rothfield and Wilson reported today in their column in the Sunday Telegraph, the return of Monday Night Football on Fox in 2007.

Monday Night Kick off - 7pm

Finch & Harrigan have agreed to take part in post match interviews in relation to the Referees performance.

As well it was reported that the 2.30pm kick off on the Sunday will move to 2pm to avoid the televised overlap with Channel 9.

Will it survive another attempt on the Monday night? Hope so, it gives another night of Footy to watch.

Agreed - the extra night of footy will be great but crowds will be crap.

Don't forget we will be getting two games on Friday night next year.

How bad would it be if you played Monday night, and then in the next round channel nein wanted you for the Friday night game.

Teams like sharks, souths, roosters wont see much Monday night footy, They will tend to give most matches to teams that bring in large crowds.

Yeah, but it will be good to see him go under the pump. Would be great if they had the post match interviews currently. He wont handle it, thats why they sent Harrigan onto the Footy show last Thursday night.

I think it will be good. It has to be better than the 9:20pm graveyard shift Saturday Night game. There'll be 8 games a round next year. Nice to see all of them live.

I thought I read at the beginning of the season that there would be a live game on nein and a live game on fox on friday night. I could be wrong but I am sure that was said and that nein would still pick the games to be played.

I can remember thinking that I would watch the fox games because of the nil adds.
