More INU speculation....

I'd still like to see Inu create an actual break for himself. Every other player in our three-quarter line can do it yet he still seems unable to.

This year he has struggled to do that and much of that was to do with his stepping inside into traffic. Last sat he tries to go around Idris and found him wanting a few times but never got a clean break mind you outside of Hayne noone in the squad has done it with any consistancy.

Inu is stronge and he may have lost some pace which may be due to a bad offseason (in the NZ squad but didnt play so didnt train much). If he can get a long offseason of fitness work done (like Hayne did) he will look much better IMO. Inu does have the advantage of being very strong and breaks alot of tackles from the centres, always being able to push away from tackles which is a positive. I would have Inu in the centres next year, IMO he has been solid enough in the last few weeks.

that's a good point, any first grade centre with their salt would be capable of finding holes if they had some half decent play makers inside them, a great centre should be more than capable of creating spaces themselves, INU is definitely not that centre...yet!

I know HJ calls hayne a her and she,but i seriously think inu is the girl.It seems he is not the giver but the taker and he needs to decide if he wants to follow his religion or his footy careere and wipe that stupid smile off his face.

he can keep the smile, keep the religion but he also needs to follow DA's advise and be more confrontational with the opposition, and he's been showing that mongral in the last few weeks..

So he should just punch people in the face, Stags?

I concur.

sure, if he gets punched he should whack them back..

DA should be telling the kid that he's playing against Lucifer, Damian the Oman, the Prince of f**king darkness and satan himself prior to every match...

He does this stupid move where he steps into the defence and not try and get around them. It's so frustrating. He is a competent winger. Fullstop.

Correct, the shame is we all thought he would be so much more.
But he never will be.

I'd say that he showed he could be a good winger when he had Tahu inside him. Hopefully this means he can do the same next year.

Sorry, but that is an extraordinarily stupid, immature and frankly mind numbingly dimwitted and offensive post.

Played first grade yourself, have you?

Inu is a freakish talent. Remember when he first broke onto the scene. Everybody thought the guy was great. I don't know what's gone wrong but maybe he'll bounce back soon. If it is possible (considering the other signings), it would be great to keep him in the club.

Yeah how frustating is that!

He needs to use his footwork to get around defenders not try run over the top of them. Hence the lack of breaks.

But he's improving...

My main problem with Inu's game is he dosent know when to use his skill or just do a normal run. He never runs straight lines anymore. He did on the wing because Tahu made the decision for him, but I cant recall him just runnung straight at a hole.

Also, when he dose get in a tackle, I love that he tries to fight his way out of it, but sometimes, the quick play the ball is more important.

Im not sure what is going through Inu's head, but it looks like he is too concerned about his own form. He figures 'ok, im on alot of money, people know what i can do, I need to do it'. What he should be thinking is 'what can I do here that will help my team out'.
