Yes amrketing is important, but we'd cope post benji, we will have to one day.
I doubt he'd follow.....but if he does, it says his father figures more important to him than his footy....we dont need that, we arent a charity.

Putting Sheens in a senior coaching directrors roles wont ease him anywhere, as you said...hes a powerful egotist, he will want to have control of whoever is coach, it will be nothing more than a new position for him, a step up and in control of a head coach....his ego wont allow anything less
Folkes = gone
Longmuir= gone
Sheens = remains

There is an interesting parallel with Penrith. How much is Cleary beholden to Gould?
That doesn't look to be working out to me I must say.

Id cop a straight swap. Cleary for Sheens and we will throw in Moltzen and Ayshford to sweeten the deal.

Tackle 1: There is absolutely no way Tim Sheens should be in charge of the Wests Tigers next season after a devastating year that saw the pre-season favourites miss out on the finals altogether – another season of epic failure for a Tigers team that possesses one of the most talented rosters in the NRL. The typical excuses are already being wheeled out but the Tigers did not miss a lot from injury and they did not blood any great young talent. Sheens was behind the decisions to bring Tim Moltzen back and sign Adam Blair at the expense of Bryce Gibbs and Andrew Fifita. He cannot continue to live off the 2005 premiership. Sheens has gone stale at the Tigers and the club must look for fresh ideas as their premiership window is rapidly closing.

I was on the booze with Nick all arvo yesty. This forum and the shortcomings of Sheens were heavily discussed.

Good luck with getting him out.

Graeme Hughes was using the injuries excuse all day today. Slowly some are coming around but he will always have plenty of friends in the media.
