funny how labor got a serious kick up the date in the last election and we finally get action on the stadium.

I was driving through Newie yesterday on my way back home form the South Coast and it said on the news that the ground would eventually be able to hold 40k.

the knights... and to a similar extent rugby league in general... need to be made "cool" again in newcastle before we fill a 40k seater. the towns youth - in terms of percentages - seems to be abandoning the knights. there were 2 people (myself included) in my class at school in newcastle that supported the knights. 2 out of 50 - or 4% if you like.

the team needs to do the job on the park - and the marketing team need to come out with something more than just appealing to the "old boys" fans. the entertainment at half time and pre-game is an absolute - 100% total joke. we need to involve the youth of newcastle in the knights in a greater capacity.

I know what you mean. My year has about 50 odd kids, I'm the only one with a season pass. Two others support them like I do, and maybe 3 - 4 others turn up to half the games.

Most of them go to the Jets games though :fist:
