Hmmm, I like... do we want to start with his impact, though, or introduce it after 25 mins or so?

theres no way delany will play... cant have a rookies marking gasnier... i dont think o'dwyer is up to the task...

leave wagon there... leave cayless in the front row too... bring in a specialist 2nd rower... thats the only way...

Given that we would still have Cannings off the bench we wouldn't lose much

As Colonel said I'm almost certain Delaney will play considering he was going to play if Ben Smith didn't recover in time last week he is obviously in the coaches minds about getting a run in the top grade.

If he does play I wouldn't be surprised to see Ben Smith shift sides and get given the job of marking Gasnier.

The team I'm expecting to see run out on Sunday now is

1. Joel Reddy
2. Luke Burt
3. Ben Smith
20. Brett Delaney
5. Eric Grothe
6. John Morris
7. Tim Smith
8. Nathan Cayless (C)
9. Mark Riddell
10. Paul Stringer
11. Nathan Hindmarsh
13. Chad Robinson
4. Daniel WAgon

14. PJ Marsh
15. Dean Widders
16. Adam Peek
18. Fuifui Moimoi

You then get Wagon to shadow Barrett all game shut down Barrett and Gasnier is a non-factor.

There is always the option of having Ash marking Gasnier

Just reminding Brian again that I will be there early on Sunday and am ready to go, if he needs me.

If he can call me in the morning on Sunday, I can pack my mouthguard and boots.

This has all the signs of a typical Brian Smith smokescreen

name a couple of players either out of position or who are injured

ie Wagon at centre instead of lock and Morrison in the team at all

Get the media taking up these players

Story today about Wagon to mark Gasnier.

then have the injured player pull out

and name a rookie who then gets no press about his debut

Delaney is the only 1 I can really think of who is due for a crack at the top grade.

This way rather then the media going on and on about how a rookie is going to stop the form centre of the comp he (Delaney) comes in with no extra pressure due to the media.

I agree 100% with above comments above, i cant see y Ben Smith cant mark up gasiner and Delaney the task of the other centre. Brian is playing games and the semi's are only just around the corner, with all the mind games this will be putting extra pressure on saints, with all our top players withdrawing and they have the home crowd advantage, won 5 in a row and premiership favourites, then woooshka, we come out and teach them a football lesson.
