I'm starting to think that he is the answer but I'm not sure if he should be at 7 or 6.

I think he has the ability to lead a team around like a 7 but he could do that from the 6 role as well.

I think the kid though is good enough to lead us to a premiership.

I should add that if he doesn't continue this form I'd look at Martin but at this point I'd punt Brooks rather than Moses. I get the impression that Moses is going to be a special player.

He can captain, coach and he can play in a 67 jersey and play on both sides by himself. Removing brooks also allows us to play another prop.

I think we should have kept Austin and left Moses in Reggies for a year.
He is just f**king terrible. Offers absolutely nothing.
Brooks isnt going much better.

Moses simply isnt ready for first grade........as most of us already knew.

And our forwards are giving our halves a very good platform and our halves are not even close to up to standard.

Have to agree Charlie...sure we only had 40% possession but the decisions/direction our halves and to a certain degree Farah tonight was pretty crook.

What has he possibly done to make you think he can lead this team from 7 let alone 6?
Played one good (great) game so far and that was from fullback last year.

Has shown absolutely zero leadership qualities this year AND in juniors coming through.

He is completely lost in the front line in first grade.

In a perfect world both our halves would be in the lower grades learning their trade. As mentioned when you only have around 40% of the ball its hard to win,add also that the rub of the green with penalties and reviews seemed to favour the Warriors, it's a credit to the WT they didn't lose by more as the final score doesn't reflect how close the actual contest was.
Any team that has that little ball needs attacking potency across the park to compensate, while our left side has been successful our right side offers very little with Lawrence being so slow the main offender.

I think Brooks has started to get a bit better.

Moses though looks lost. At times Sironen gets used as the five eighth still, so it would appear that even the players don't have 100% confidence in Moses yet.

But it will come.

Lawrence's speed lack could be negated by having a good #6 that puts him in the right place and on the right line.

Moses hands the ball to Lawrence too early nearly every time. He needs to run with the ball in hand a bit longer and put Lawrence on a straight line where he is 1-on-1 with a defender. That is Lawrence's bread and butter. Lawrence can draw and pass reasonably well too.

With Moses being unwilling to run the ball it makes it easier for the oppositions defence to mark up on our outside backs which doesn't help Rowdy, even more so that he has lost his pace.
IMO Brooks is the better of the two,i like that Moses is competitive,is a good goal kicker and support player but outside of that every other aspect of his game is poor at this stage of his NRL career.

Both of our halves have been poor this season. I would give them both a 4/10 for their performances so far. Kicking game especially has been diabolical, fifth tackle options poor. I'm willing to be patient but they need to improve big time.

I wonder whether the fifth tackle kick option is directed by Taylor ?

Also I think the Drinkwater option has to be considered soon . Yes he is a 7 but Moses at the moment is not running , kicking well OR organizing the plays , so id rather have a player that can at least achieve one of those responsibilities if not more. Moses will improve with time but how long do we hold back the side while waiting.

Holding back the side? Rubbish.

Drinkwater will only ever play first grade if there is a whole bunch of injuries.

I'd rather leave Moses in the top grade the entire year to give him time to adapt to first grade than promote drinkwater. Drinkwater is not a first grader, he struggled at the dragons, he struggled big time at the London Broncos and his nsw cup form does not scream out first grader.

I think Drinkwater has been more impressive in state cup then Moses's stint was. Ill throw this one over to Gronk who has watched more games this year for his opinion.

I think people are kidding themselves if they're expecting more from Brooks and Moses at this stage.
We're six games into a new regime with a hell of a lot of young and inexperienced footballers - it's going to take time.
They're definitely treading water at the moment, but there's clearly a lot to come from them both.

Whats wrong with wanting more , id rather see them making mistakes and trying things then doing practically nothing . Playing that way is not going to help you improve .

Then your issue is with JT rather than the two halves themselves.
