ok lets put it this way. Am i wrong in suggesting that Dogs COULD have an off year next year despite the year they had this year? am i wrong in suggesting some players could fall in form at the dogs next year? No i'm not.

Ok some opinions can be wrong but a large amount of opinions on here i find are never wrong because like i said everyone sees things differently.

But you trying to make my statement 'wrong' in saying Mini is a better prop than Gallen is ridiculous. who would even suggest that? for one one doesn't even play the position.

Opinions within reason is what i should have said probably but you get my drift. I don't see how my opinions have been wrong though. All i've seen is that i've made one and Doggiesbro didn't like it so to him its not a question of me being wrong but me not being allowed to make that opinion because it upsets him. So pretty much he is being an idiot

god you're an idiot. who in their right mind would even compare that anyway. within reason you knob.

time to sign out of RWB account and sign into Doggiesbro account

It's called a major exaggeration, often used when people are trying to explain a point. The example given isn't relevant, the concept is however.

It's obvious even you don't believe that no ones opinions are wrong. Labeling me an idiot after I expressed my opinion on whether opinions can be wrong or not... a little hypocritical don't you think?

If you state a like for example then of course your opinion can't be wrong, e.g;

"I like Jaryd Hayne more than Billy Slater"

These are the types of opinions that Mummy meant you can never be wrong about.

ok fair point haha i see where you are coming from i guess. apologies but were my opinions wrong though in suggesting Dogs could finish lower than they did this year? I don't think i was tbh

You get where i'm coming from yes? Like you said all minor premiers haven't fallen out of the 8 the next year for a long time where i said runners up have. Both facts apply to Dogs as they were Both runners up and minor premiers so i'm still not wrong in suggesting they could fall out of the 8 and neither are you in suggesting they won't based on our facts.

2001 MP: Parramatta (02 finished 6th)
2002 MP: New Zealand (03 finished 6th)
2003 MP: Penrith (04 finished 4th)
2004 MP: Sydney (05 finished 9th)
2005 MP: Parramatta (06 finished 8th)
2006 MP: Melbourne (07 finished 1st) - Striped
2007 MP: Melbourne (08 finished 1st) - Striped
2008 MP: Melbourne (09 finished 4th Premiers) - Striped
2009 MP: Dragons (10 finished 1st)
2010 MP: Dragons (11 finished 5th)
2011 MP: Melbourne (12 Finished 2nd)

So apart from a select through (mostly the Cheating Melbourne side) majority have finished around the 4th-6th spot and where did i predict Dogs to fall too? 5th spot.

Now lets see where the runners up ended up after losing a GF

01 - Eels in 02 came 6th
02 - Warriors in 03 came 6th
03 - Roosters in 04 came 1st
04 - Roosters in 05 came 9th
05 - Cowboys in 06 came 9th
06 - Melbourne in 07 came 1st - Stripped
07 - Manly in 08 won the comp
08 - Melbourne in 09 1st - Stripped
09 - Eels in 10 came 12th
10 - Roosters in 11 came 11th
11 - Warriors this year came 14th

Again history proving apart from Melbourne cheating Dogs could fall down into around 5th like i suggested. Even though the last 3 didn't get minor premiers they were runners up who missed the 8. So my theory is still supported in the fact that my suggestion Dogs could go backwards next year isn't entirely out of the question.
11 - Warriors in 12 came

Your opinion's not wrong because you can factually back it up, history shows that teams have missed the 8 after great seasons before. I just thought the attempt to draw a correlation between the last 3 runners up was misguided. I think the table is a much better guide as to how teams will perform the following season than the finals series which is can be just as much a reflection of form as it is ability.

yeh thats true i understand that but really a lot of the Runners up have had some sort of a hang over of some sort. Dogs have the coach who could prevent this from happening but do they have the players to follow in des's foot steps after having such a successful year only to fall short at the final hurdle...will be a massive hit to their confidence. Like i said i'm thinking around the 5th mark. Teams will try to have their mark

I wanna see des's plan B. Granted only a select few sides have the ability to shut them down like the storm did but they definitly showed its achievable. Dogs and des get a plan B then it'll be top 4 no worries. merkins! Lol

thats it isn't it. Did he have a plan b for Manly? or did he just have the right players at Manly. No secret that their halves have always been solid

Orford and Lyon in 07 and 08
Evans and Foran last year

all fair superior half combination than Reynolds and Keating/Hodkinson

ironic the year they didn't win the comp was when they had Foran and hodkinson at halves....Wonder how Trent will go under des in dogs colours. Time will tell

So if I say;

"In my opinion Anthony Minichiello is better a better prop than Paul Gallen is or will ever be"

I'm not wrong because it's just my opinion?

Forget what your year 1 teacher taught you, of course opinions can be wrong.

Hard to forget last week :lol::lol::lol::lol:

NO YOU CAN'T SAY THAT. HIS MOTHER SAID NO.

Honestly how old are you? At least I can accept I had something wrong about the opinion issue but you can't accept anyone's opinion if they're saying something against the dogs. And like rwb said he doesn't think I'm wrong in saying what I'm saying and I'm sure a lot of people don't think I'm wrong either

How clever suggesting im in primary school! Resorting to these types of insults is pretty petty. Just shows the type of intellect you have if that's the type of 'insults' you come up.

Get over it people will rate your team differently to you. Grow some balls and take the criticism if you can't I don't think an Internet forum is the place or you
