Let's go through...
Sia Soliola - If he had have stayed fit, the Raiders would have pinched 8th spot.
Frank Pritchard - I loved Frank the Tank but for whatever reason, it appeared as if he's been out of sight, out of mind for a few years. The media got over him, so people moved onto their next darling. In which case, I thought there were games where Pritchard out-performed Jackson and came up with bigger plays. I was surprised when so little was made of his form, for mine he was one of the Bulldogs better players.
Gerard Beale - Doesn't receive the credit he deserves for Holmes' development. A really solid link-man who holds his own in the three-quarters. Definitely an upgrade on who the Sharks had before him.
Luke Douglas - Used to be a fixture in these sorts of discussions but has been forgotten about amid the Titans worries. Just a very solid tradesman like prop who gets through his business and does everything he can to make it on the field. There's something to respect about that.
Tom Symonds - The Mr. Fix It of Manly. I think that role has hurt his career somewhat as I like what I've seen of him on the fringes. Still, a player of his calibre is always handy to have around.
Tim Glasby - A versatile forward who can either earn you hard yards in the middle or create things on the fringes. Doesn't receive that much attention from the media, but the coach loves him and for good reason.
Joseph Tapine - Displays great foot-work and is very skillful for a player his size. 2015 should have been a break-out year for Joe but for whatever reason the coach wasn't willing to give him game-time.
John Asiata - Similar to Frank Pritchard to the extent that there were times where he was out-playing the Dally M Lock of the Year. Just a good all-round prospect with a nice passing game which gives the Cowboys more options.
Manu Ma'u - Provides Parramatta with plenty of stability down their left fringe. His ability to link up with his outside men makes him very dangerous.
Jeremy Latimore - A quiet achiever who continues to get better with age. Isn't afraid to fight in every single tackle and his ability to pop offloads gives Penrith an extra dimension in attack.
Jack de Belin - For mine, one of the most improved players in the game. When the Dragons were the form team, it was physicality of players like de Belin that gave them that extra edge. I had no idea where his career was going but if he continues to improve he should be in Origin discussions.
Luke Keary - Had a quiet 2015, but Keary is a serious footballer and can read the play better than most people his age. 2016 could be a make or break season for Keary, but I think fans have been a little quick to write him off.
Mitchell Aubusson - The new poster child of this thread. He's basically a better version of Symonds and I think it's a crime he hasn't been given a better look in at Origin over the past few years.
Simon Mannering - I couldn't believe it when his name wasn't considered for the Dally M Lock of the Year. The Warriors had a disappointing year, but Mannering was one of their better performers week in and week out. With an improved roster, I'm sure we'll see his name there abouts this year.
Ava Seumanufagai - An honest toiler who does his job off the bench with very little fuss. In a side as mentally weak as the Tigers, Seumanufagai seemed like one of the only players who just went on with business.
As for somebody who I support...
Jordan Kahu - An extremely skillful back who can play anywhere 1-6 and isn't afraid of a challenge. Has overcome some huge obstacles in his career and it appears his best days are infront of him.
