Simpsons movie was pretty average but really what could they do? They had too much history behind them at that point and I think the movie only happened because everyone was like YOU GOTTA HAVE A SIMPSONS MOVIE.

I think they said the Camp Krusty episode was supposed to be the movie back in the day. I guess they made the movie eventually before the show was totally irrelevant (ok bit late)

Would have been a nice throwback if they went back to the old hand drawn animation style or made homer a loveable oaf again. It was all pretty average.and did not capture the feel of the shows golden era.

I loved The Simpsons Movie.
Thought it was a fantastic return to form after a couple of lean seasons.
Albert Brooks is brilliant as always (any episode featuring him guest starring is usually an instant classic).

Lucy - one of the dumbest f**king movies I have ever seen

What was Morgan Freeman smoking when he agreed to do this abortion of a film

Has been in a few stinkers. Dreamcatcher comes to mind.

Oh yeah.
Both of those were just horrible movies.
Dreamcatcher was never going to be good. The book it was based on was pretty crap itself, and its content was never going to translate well to the screen.

Worst movie I ever sat through was a movie called Happiness (Had to watch for my parents video shop).

It took all my strength not to kick the TV in at the end of that one.

Dear Mr Solondz, there's a difference between "dark and edgy" and just plain vomit-worthy.

Oh. I downloaded it but haven't watched it yet cause someone "recommended" it. Might just not bother.

Happiness is a great movie. Extremely disturbing and confronting but hilarious in a morbid way.

The subject matter and tone makes it polarizing but you should get something out of it if you're a fan of satire and dark comedy and have an open mind.

It's sickening shit. There's a reason it had such a good cast yet bombed so badly at the Box Office. I have an open mind and it's the only movie I've seen that I honestly wished I'd never watched.

It was a small indie film with a 3 million dollar budget, it wasn't a failure at all. They weren't trying to make a box office hit, it's an arthouse movie. Solondz has made stuff like Happiness his whole career, they knew what they were getting into. It's well reviewed everywhere, even by users on IMDB.

**************Spoiler Alert******************

No surprise there El D.

Probably wants to be the kid in the movie that gets pissed off that his father is molesting his mates but not him.

Not sure I want to watch that. Unless it turns a corner like Bad Boy Bubby. Though that first 40mins was hell to go through to get to the good bits. Though you did need to see it to make sense of the rest of it.

I didn't say it was a failure (If you set your sights that low, failure can be tough to achieve), I said it bombed at the box office. If it was such a great movie, word would have gotten around. That seemingly didn't happen.

I have no problem with it being made, I'm all for allowing all forms of expression, even shitty one's like Happiness. But if I was supposed to have laughed at the scene I described above...

The movie gave me nothing but a dislike for anyone who would put that shit together. I didn't laugh at all and the only feelings it gave me were in my gag reflex. Bad Boy Bubby is Oscar material in comparison. (And before you think it, I love Bad Boy Bubby).

It's a movie that people who like to say they are "broadminded and/or open-minded" will watch and say they enjoyed thoroughly. Hipster's would love it. I'd watch Sandler's last 10 movies 5 times each before I'd watch Happiness again. Hell, I'd watch Pixels 50 times before I'd watch it.
