Mullholand leaving?

Tell us the facts then.
What actually took place or are you just speculating like everyone else?

Just speculating.

What isn't speculation is that the top clubs experience such issues much less frequently than we do. It's called professionalism. Fact.

All those teams had decent roster and coaches to win those comps.

Dragons had 4yrs of bullshit because of young and Doust after 2010.

So I would rather have someone in the club that can get us out of this crap we in and make this team become a premiership force to be reckoned with.

Doust isn't the right CEO after not even capitalizing on the succes of 2010. The club since then went backwards because of all these F'd deals he made with players and to top it off, borrowed money from the NRL. As for Young, was a headache to deal with. Some player managers couldn't deal with him.

Mullholland knows his job and should be left alone to do what he was hired for. Can't afford to go backwards. We have had 4yrs of bullshit. It's time to be a force again. That's why you find people like myself very pissed with that stupid decision to let Mullholland go. He was building on something nicely.

not sold sorry! No team from 2010 onwards has backed up because it's that hard! He was at the dogs and knights where have they been in the last few years? We've been premiers more recently than them, and the dogs have this supposed never ending budget to buy players! The way I see it is he's done his job we all move on and so do we but everyone losing their shit because he's gone is an overreaction!

Just as an aside....Souths are now under massive cap pressure after winning the premiership and would be lucky to break even financially and hold on to crowd favourites.
And....there are quite a few player managers that won't deal with Mulholland - FACT
:D

Roosters seem to be the only club untouched by the salary cap. 3 minor prems and a GF win? Lost minimal players despite upgrades to exisiting players?

losing BJ Leulia, Curtis Rona, Mose Masoe, Anasta, SBW, RTS, Maloney, Minnichello, Moga and Frank-Paul over 3 seasons counted as only minimal losses??

Fact is they lose their fare share, but manage to replace and recruit far more effectively then the dragons.

Mary brought Mulholland in and barely 12 months on he's gone.

Its interesting how this has panned out so many rumours doing the rounds its hard to say who is at fault if anyone at all.

If he wants to go to the Faiders a club that struggles to attarct players due to the fact Canberra sucks good luck to him.

This is the most logical thing said in the whole thread. Why? Because so far we know nothing about his departure but already everyone is not only making outrageous assumptions on why he left but treating these assumptions as facts. The outrage in here is pre-emptive and cringeworthy.

It's extremely convenient

Well you would know all about that. Doust appointing Mullholand to the job wasn't worthy of any praise, yet Mullholand leaving the job automatically incites criticism of Doust.

Double standards, or just convenient?

I wasn't convinced by Mulholland. I'm even less convinced by this club's management. I don't see this episode painting them in the best light, regardless of the spin.

The club simply do not sack football staff 1 year in, due to a lack of performance. This is fact.

I actually agree with you on all of this. But I don't think any of this voids what Jubilee said, if true.

It kinda does. Performance is largely irrelevant, particularly after one year. Craig Young was in the role for an eternity and player agents hated his guts. I think leaking that kind of point is pure spin.

Picking and choosing which "facts" you're prepared to accept, so long as they fall in line with your personal views is the definition of pure spin.

Although I do acknowledge that looking at ALL the facts objectively to try and create a clear view of the big picture is not particularly popular in here.
