Both men are great fighters and world champs. I just wish Mundine would leave religion and native rights/politics to himself.
However, it will be a great fight and I'll be watching on Fox.
In person when I spoke to him he never boasted not once and was extremely humble and gracious even shook my hand and signed an autograph all very polite and gentlemanly, always had a big smile. It's a shame many don't like him due to the mistake he made in the comment about 911 and some trash talking and stuff. I honestly dont think he meant it that way, people must learn to forgive, he is definately controversial but I believe he is a good man at heart.
I think Mundine did his best last night and it just was not good enough. In my opinion he is no longer a world class fighter. He lost last night fair and sqare. To beat Geale he needed to be far more aggressive and punch with a lot more power.
On the other hand Geale is a class act and in my opinion has a great future. He clwarly owon the fight last night.
Anthony Mundine is a technically gifted fighter. Probably one of the best jabs in the business. His skills compare favourably to many Mexican fighters except that he has no real power and this has been evident throughout his career with the number of points decisions he has had. Given that lack of real stopping power he has done remarkably well with his career and managed it well enough to stay clear of fights and fighters where he would be stopped. And I don't think that a lack of courage - anyone who steps through the ropes is courageous. Anthony is obviously smarter than people give him credit for which is also exemplified by his marketing - the man people love to hate. People pay to watch him hoping he will get hurt but he is smarter enough to choose fighters where there is less risk of that happening and gets great pay days.
Nothing to do with Mundine, but here is an interesting article today from a proper Dragons man, Kostya Tszyu.

Good luck to Mundine he made millions from baiting the general public into believing that he was some sort of massive villain, gotta love the man he may have played all the haters to his own tune $$$, he's not a nasty human being I bet behind closed doors he'll be having a nice chat with Daniel Geale.
Mundine is the best troll ever.
