Run to the hills should be the parra supporters theme song.

Gee, you would have thought it was your team that beat the Warriors? Would rather say something to a team that didn't make the eight than the team that will knock you out of the finals this weekend. Looks like the rorters will be waiting a few more years before they get the Premiership they "lost" last year???

Season isn't over yet like yours. Hoped you enjoyed the our loss to the warriors as it's the last one you'll be seeing from us this year.

You talking about Brian Smith's favorite Eric Clapton tune - Choker? Must be a parra fan favorite as well!

Keep playing the Hughes brothers and Anasta and we'll be cheering the the Storm all the way home. How can your coach pick the Hughes boys and Anasta ahead of Grimaldi, Feeney and Asotasi???

The Dogs will be singing Thunderstruck come Monday morning!

unfortunately, you are right. I'll be moving house this weekend so won't get the chance to watch you guys play the Storm. Pity, would have actually enjoyed the experience of the Runts being eliminated.

continuing on about Eddie Van Halen...... im not doubting his ability to play and what he has achieved, but i dont think his guitar sounds are as soothing as lets say Carlos Santana!. This is probably due to the type of music both Van Halen and Carlos play. To me personally a lot of Eddies solos seem the same..... no different sounds!.

Ron, I have the video of that. They played Number Of The Beast. And just like usual, all the teenyboppers teenybopped all the way through it!

Speaking of Soothing then if thatwas the case then David Gilmour from Pink Floyd should of been alot higher......i love Pink Floyd and there style of Music and i still think the Guitar solo for the live version of "Comfortably numb" is one of the best i've heard......an underatted guitarist Gilmour!!

Ed's got great variety to his solo's......listen to "Dreams" and that is more of a soothing solo...you have to listen to his other songs that weren't as popular realise how great he was!!

It doesn't have to be soothing to be a great solo.....in my view the complexity of the solo tells me if there a complex guitarist...Hendrix wasn't or Santana weren't!!

"Black Majic Women" is a great song & i enjoy listening to it.

Slippery i could play you some VH on my guitar which you haven;t heard which would blow you away!!

Gilmour was brilliant..... i remember watching Live at Pompeii around 10 years ago and it blew my mind. Gilmour with his guitar lying flat on the ground creating so many amazing sounds. I was never really into Pink Floyd but they were good.

For a while i was really into Floyd.....all mates where massive Floyd fans & there bedrooms had Floyd all over it so it was inevitable that i would get into them.

Floyd where very distinctive & creative and where always great to put on after a big night out.....the light shows at there concerts are apparently amazing & a must see specticle!!
