Really? And which form of DM are you referring to? They're all very different. I assume by making a comment like that you understand the genre and are aware of the various styles? So are you talking Gore (Cannibal Corpse, Mortician)? Melodic Death (Dark Tranquility, In Flames)? Doom (My Dying Bride, Cathedral). Perhaps Black Metal bands with death influences as well (Immortal)?
