A four week suspension is nothing.
The NRL and Manly should have made it indefinite until the case is resolved one way or the other.
In the meantime, he can look forward to heaps of ugly jeers and bad humour when he plays at away matches.
Regardless of his guilt or innocence, he will lucky not to have stuff thrown at him or be spat on by the rank and file non-Manly league fan at away matches.
If he was at my club, I wouldnt want him anywhere near the park until the matter is settled.
The fact that Manly are prepared to play him and encourage his heroism in these uncertain circumstances shows a complete and utter breakdown in ethical and moral standards at Manly and they deserve to be suspended from the competition until they can demonstrate that the good name of the NRL is more important than winning a few matches against sub-standard sides.
